Hotel Bogotá House — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

I got a pretty much bad experience in there last night; once I did check in I went outside to looking for some food before it started to rain, I spent like 35 minutes outside then headed back to hotel but no one opened the door; I was knocking and ringing the doorbell by at least 30 minutes and NO ONE opened the door for me (One hour in total) All my stuff was inside (money, phone, laptop, luggage) EVERYTHING!!! Two of the resident whom was inside wasn’t be able to open the door for me cuz they didn’t knew if I was really a resident as them or just a thief trying to take advantage of the situation (I don’t guilt them, Bogotá is an unsafe city). Trying to looking for help I reached 2 neighbors from next block same street but they was perplexed with the awkward situation….. After 1 hour finally the receptionist arrived very relax doing jokes and tryin to be fun, I was very annoyed but never violent or rude.

It was a very stressful and unkind situation.

I know that probably it doesn’t happens often but happened to me.

No thinking about the facts: … The hotel was nice, clean and comfy, good relation price/benefit, near to CAS (Uber was like 2usd), airport and American embassy as well , breakfast was included, a nice...

Good: Only 10 min drive to airport . I needed to leave hotel at 5am so arranged taxi through them. Taxi arrived right on time. A clean nice safe little spot in midst of residential neighborhood. All night lobby staff. Easy walk to huge variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, banks, grocery store, shops, etc. if you're needing a nice meal or something.||||Bad: Very difficult to find. Lots of one-way streets and streets that don't connect through to next block. Also make sure to tell taxi to take you to Modelia bario. Some online sites incorrectly list this place as being...

We arrived in bogota very late and struggled to find any reception staff in the more commercial hostels. We ended up coming to this hotel and I couldn't be happier. The staff were helpful, friendly, lenient and very familiar. The rooms we're clean and towels and soap are provided. Furthermore all rooms were offered at a very good price.
