Hotel Espacio 94 — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

I have stayed at this place multiple times ( 3+ ) for long seasons ranging from 2 weeks up to 3 months.|- The place has an ideal location in the Zona G of Bogota.|- Breakfast is basic but nice.|- Great, friendly and helpful staff.|- Rooms are clean and spacious.|- High story Rooms have good views of the city.||Staff:|- All receptionists are very Kind and will always help you with a great smile.|- I order a lot of food... and they were always kind enough to help me get it up to my room.|- They always provided good information and offered to help with directions and more.|- Special Thanks to Miguel, Andres and Martica from cleaning staff, these folks are just kind and working honest people.||- Unfortunately, Paula from reception was the exception, she was mostly rude with me and all my friends.|- Lacked basic manners like greeting guests and showed attitude.|- Very slow to open the door and slow doing front desk activities...|- Worst of all never offered help beyond her most basic mandatory role of opening the door.|- This lack of proper training to new receptionists is why I don't give 5 stars to this hotel.||Recommending to management to properly train new Receptionists in customer service and...

Stay that many different hotels all over the world and I have to say this is one of the best one for the price! I got a twin room with kitchen for five nights and it was all excellent. The little kitchen even has an oven. The staff at the hotel did not speak much English. We also don't speak Spanish. I regret not learning Spanish but I didn't know I was going to end up in Colombia! But still we found a way to communicate and everyone at the hotel was so nice. For kitchen amenities, we asked certain items using Google translate at the front desk. They were always so happy to help. One thing that was strange was that we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door every single day because I don't believe we need our room cleaned/towels wasted. The cleaning person came in and clean the room every single day though lol. This is not much of a complaint but I thought it was interesting. Uber is very accessible from this area. Walking to Park 93 took about 10 minutes and great restaurant/ cafes are all there. We are two girls and we walked around that night without any issues. I never once felt unsafe in the area. This Hotel is too much money and too noisy, USD$60.00/night. i.) old towels ii.) poor running water in the shower iii.) it takes forever for the water to run hot iv.) broken shower handles v.) soap in a packet and not dispensing vi.) tiny refrigerator in the room vii.) old linen on the bed viii.) too soft pillows viiii.) one roll of toilet paper and ZERO paper towel in the kitchen the room is worth maximum $37.00 USD including taxes; NOT one penny extra; $60.00 way tooooooo much ix.) only one (1) night stand light x.) poor pressure of water in the shower xii.) zero clock in the room xiii.) very noisy building from the street outside and somewhat from inside the building; was awoken at 0500 hrs by noisy people from the street; building poorly insulated; the street noise is intense!
