Before I even start I need to point out that this is by all means NOT AT ALL a luxury hotel,if anything it is very very far from it! Seems like more of a rundown motel – Extended Stay America type of place. I am amazed that I was able to book an entire suite for 3 nights at the cost of $250. But once I was there, I understood that I got what I paid for. What can make or break a hotel is the staff and the staff at this hotel are terrible and not helpful at all. Every request that I had was met with a “no” or “do it yourself”! I arrived in a Bogota at noon, exhausted from my flights. I emailed them in advance asking if I can check in early. I was willing to pay more. The answer was flat out no. I sat at the airport 3 hours waiting so I can check in. The check-in was really smooth but the two people at the front desk were very cold and unfriendly. The young woman who checked me gave me no directions as of where to go to find my room, where the gym is, breakfast time or Wi-Fi info . The room was big, but it was empty. I thought I had booked a full suite with kitchen, but there was no utensils and absolutely nothing in the kitchen. There was no blow dryer in the room either. I called the front desk and they told me I had to go to the kitchen and get all those things. At this point, I was very angry, because I was tired after my long flight to Bogota, and I didn’t think it was fair for me to go all the way back to the main building where the kitchen is to drag a box full utensils and necessities for my room that should’ve been there in the first place. After much fuss the young man brought me some pots 2 plates and a few spoons, forks. No knife, no Bowl, no cups to drink … so I had to go from building #2 back to building number one to drag all these things from the kitchen again. The room itself had no temperature control. No heater no air conditioning. Bogota gets cold. I asked them for an extra blanket and again , I had to come back down and get it. The kitchen stove worked poorly & no fan to get rid of the cooking smells. They do not provide you with a sponge or dish soap. No fan in the bathroom either. The fridge was not cold. It took two days for my water bottle to get cold. They provide paying snacks in the room but I asked them to remove them because they were over priced. I asked for a top floor and a quiet room. The hotel did not accommodate my request. There was a reception going on downstairs and my first night I heard crowds cheering and yelling all night. Every morning I was in awaken by dog who barked continuously from 6 AM to 8:30 AM. There was a balcony, but it was constantly raining so useless. The bed and pillows stunk so badly of bad body odour & sweat. I found 13 curly black hair in the tub ,disgusting. The shower head was too small. The gym had bad machines ,no air conditioning or any air or windows. It was located right beside the sauna so the whole area was hot & steamy from the sauna, excessively warm and stuffy. They often had conferences because the conference room was next door so when i came down in my gym clothes i had to go through a crowd of well dressed people which was embarrassing. Asked the guy from front desk to open the doors for air and he ignored me. Rude guy! Breakfast was poor and not many healthy choices for people with dietary restrictions. They had cut fruit but it was always emptied. The Buffet was also constantly emptied and they did not fill it out until you asked. The second day they had no brown bread, and they just told me too bad too sad when I asked. Eggs had meat so I couldn’t eat them. On my last day they had plain scrambled eggs, but they were all really salty and disgusting. I was planning on staying a month but I left after three days. Bogota has so many beautiful truly luxurious hotels at incredible prices . This one was NOT ne of them. Although the neighbourhood was charming, there are so many other options that are a million times better a few blocks away. I will definitely not stay here again. This hotel needs to learn how to treat their...

Read moreThe hotel in general is okay, but there are a few minus points. The breakfast buffet is good for 2/3 days after that it will get boring and repetitive. They have fruit options, bread, some cheese and ham. Which does not change, every day the same breads, cheese, and ham. There are cornflakes with milk. And there is one dish that they change everyday( for example waffles, then toasted bread with cheese, then buñuelos, and so on only for 1 dish the rest is the same for the whole stay.
The most disappointing part is that they allow people with pets on any floor, they should make it so if people have pets they stay on a specific floor, i stayed on the 3rd floor and at 12am at night a dog was barking the whole night, because owners probably went out and left it in the room. It kept barking and scratching at the door which you can clearly hear from other rooms. In the video below you will be able to see what I mean.
Also third and last point the bed sheets were stained, and also had hair on them. Which was found disgusting. At any other hotels, they don’t use stained sheets and also sheets that had hair on them...
