Hotel NH Bogotá Urban 93 Royal — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

Do not stay in this hotel. I’m we booked a room in Feb 2024 and the first night the mattress was incredibly hard. The next day I woke up with hip pain and neither one of us really slept. We could not believe how stiff the mattress was. Mind you we are 30 yrs and 29 yrs old with an active lifestyle. We reached out to the front desk and they said a topper would be installed. We went about our day and when we came back, no topper was installed. Also, why wasn’t a topper default on these concrete beds? It was late in the evening so they gave us a topper for us to install. The topper wasn’t an actual foam topper, it was the blanket that was used to dress the bed, it did not make much difference. The next day, we complained about the bed once again and that we needed a solution. At this point it had been 2 days without sleep. The stewardess asked if we could go down for breakfast and she will install another topper while we were eating. We did so, to much our surprise, the topper was left in the room next to the bed, not installed.

I just about had it, I booked another hotel down the street, the Dan, highly recommend. When we went I the front desk to check out, we raised our concerns, the lady seemed uninterested. I told her that I would be seeking a partial refund of the stay and she just said it’s non-refundable and that it’s “not the hotel’s problem if we don’t not like the beds.”

I am never staying at this hotel again and if you love your back and hips, do not stay here either....

Great location, around the corner from Parque 93, near an always busy Juan Valdez coffee shop and all sorts of restaurants. The excellent staff was helpful and accommodated us by sending a taxi to receive us at the airport when we arrived (late) and then a really top notch taxi and driver to take us to the airport at 4 am. (To the lovely staff: sorry we seemed to always be traveling at ungodly hours!) ||We enjoyed spacious rooms with comfortable bedding. There is a small gym which was really appreciated by us. The hotel is undergoing renovation so we did have to contend with construction noise during the day from time to time but we suspect that is how we got a good rate at this normally expensive (and very good) hotel. ||Breakfasts are outstanding - all kinds of fruits, fresh juices, baked goods, everything you could want. Wifi is sometimes iffy though the staff would respond immediately to do what needed to be done to fix it. ||Overall, an excellent business hotel. We decided to return on our way back through Bogotá....
