Overall good value for money. Room was a bit small but very clean. A few of the items in the room was broken or not working, but they sent someone to fix it promptly after we told them. Breakfast was good, neighborhood was safe and lots of dining options. Staff were great and helpful except for one.||||We had an issue with one of their Front Desk staff... his name is Wilson. We had arranged for airport transfer through them, and few days before arriving we asked them to change the pickup time to 2 hours later as we wanted to get our Yellow Fever vaccine at the airport after landing. They confirmed the request, but failed to tell this to the driver, who showed up at the airport at the previous arranged time.|| ||The driver was very kind and drove us from the Arrival to Departure Terminal (about 5 minutes away) where the clinic was and waited for us for over 1 hour. He ended up charging us an extra fee for the wait, which we gladly paid since the miscommunication was not his fault. When we told the Front Desk, Wilson denied responsibility by saying that the driver charged us extra because we made him wait for us, to which we explained that he was not given the correct pickup time by the hotel. He then said that the driver actually did not charge us for the wait, but because we made him drive us between Terminals. This was not true, as the driver had told us (through Google Translate) that the charge was for the 1 hour wait. The other Front Desk staff, Julio, who initially translated for us, also said the charge was for the wait. ||||In the end we told them we were not looking for reimbursement, just better communication in the future. The driver would not have had to wait for over an hour if he was given the correct pickup time. It was an extra $10 which we did not care for after dropping $7000 on this trip. It was then that Wilson decided to apologize for the inconvenience. Needless to say we were not impressed with being blamed for their lack of organization. ||||Thank you to Julio who stayed professional and pleasant throughout the...
Read moreAfter a 4 night stay in this hotel, I asked them to clean the room and change the bed linen (the whole bedding) on the last day of my stay. The receptionist knew about it and a supervisor knew about it. I left two pieces of color string under the last bed sheet and took pictures as proof to see if they were going to change the whole bedding as they had told me they were going to do it. Upon my return to my room later that night, I checked under the bed sheet and I saw clearly the two pieces of string I left earlier that afternoon. I took couple of pictures that night to prove my point with the front desk but they are clueless about how or what they do during the cleaning process at this hotel. Very disappointed with this hotel, they should offer me a reimbursement. They advertise superior cleaning protocols and cleaning practices but they are all lies. This hotel needs to retrain all personal in best cleaning practices for everyone’s safety specially now, that this virus is all...
Read moreJust stayed here for 3 nights, it was only $255 Australian $$$. Very cheap indeed.|I’m not used to such small rooms but it was very clean and comfortable. I was on level 6 and the street noise was very noticeable. The shower was ridiculous, you had to walk in and turn around next to the open window to close the shower door, then lock the glass door. Then you can turn the shower on and dodge the cold water. I worked it out. Run the shower first and get it warm, turn it off then do the turn around and lock the door , then turn it on so you only get sprayed with warm water. Not sure what bright spark invented this, A sliding door would be much easier.|The brekky was average, not a huge choice but the chef will do eggs or an omelette for you.|The staff were fantastic, all very positive and helpful.|Would I stay here again, probably not.|No restaurant for lunch or dinner and no room service.|Heaps of restaurants close by,...
