Bistecca e Vino Da Trattoria de la Plaza (Centro Internacional I Parque Central Bavaria) — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

I was hoping this place will fix my bad experience with steaks in colombia, but it didn't. I went at noon,many people in the place,mostly business man, very nice atmosphere. I sat on the bar cus there was no place, the bartender was super nice and polite, and had plenty of work. I ordered 2 appetizers, and 1 t bone steak. The appetizers took around 25 mints to arrive, place was packed so fine. Empandas with Carne was a bit blend,sauce but too spicy to my taste, but I ate everything. The second one was some kind of meltd Buffalo cheese with burnt tomato,but in a bowl, similar to a soup,was missing salt badly! In my taste not a great appetizer both look and taste, but it's my opinion. Now for the T-bone- every part which had fat in it, was really really chewy, you can't eat that stuff. I order it medium, but it came rare (usually happens in colombia) but I dont mind eat rare so it's fine and I didn't say anything. But the steak itself was very chewy,very blend taste,not sure if it was fresh. The meat had darker red color, and not bright red like I'm used to. I tried and I barley finished half of the steak, big disappointment. Most people I saw ate pasta dishes, I got a small carbonara,as a addition to the steak, was again ok,ate much better. 42 mints I waited for the steak, wasn't worth it....

No soy de estar realizando comentarios, pero la primera vez que fui a este restaurante quedamos encantados, la comida, la atención todo super... Me pareció bueno invitar a mis suegros a este restaurante en el cumpleaños de mi esposa, realicé una reserva en la cual ofrecieron una decoración que nunca hubo y cuando llegamos no fue lo esperado, más de 15 min para atendernos, la comida no fue igual seguro cambiaron el chef, la carne dura y la verdad, me fui insatisfecho porque no tuve la misma experiencia de la primera vez, realmente me dio vergüenza con mis suegros totalmente decepcionados. Además la atención de la administradora no fue acorde a su labor, al inicio se le hizo la observación sobre la decoración y la respuesta fue que no la manejaban, que solo iban a poner dos globos en la mesa... Le falta tacto para con los clientes, ser más atenta, aunque quisieron tener una atención con nosotros por lo sucedido con la decoración la verdad nada pudo compensar el mal rato, todos estos comentarios se hacen de manera constructiva en pro de su restaurante ya que es un sitio agradable y si no cuidan los detalles será difícil que un cliente quiera regresar, aparte de eso tengan por favor el personal suficiente, demoraron mucho en atender con la excusa que solo habia un mesero... Creo que eso no es cuestión del cliente, si no hay suficientes meseros. Para que se hace una reservación si finalmente uno llega y nadie lo recibe, no cumplen con lo que ofrecen para un cumpleaños, no tienen suficientes meseros, la administradora la verdad le falta demasiado en muchos aspectos que no voy a seguir mencionando, ustedes deben entrar a estudiar y ver si realmente está cumpliendo el objetivo por el cual la tienen ahí. Lamentamos tener que hacer este tipo de críticas pero la verdad es bueno que sepan y lo tengan en cuenta para...

CLASSY, DELICIOUS restaurant ! A MUST place to visit while in Bogotá! The menu is one of a kind. La bistecca a la fiorentina is absolutely worth it. I've also tried their steak which is cooked to perfection and don't forget to ask for its side dishes. I guarantee you won't find Its "pure de arvejas" anywhere else.
