Hospedaje en Esplendor — Hotel in Cabecera Municipal

Tidy, cosy and clean, I can only recommend this place 👍 Very clean (more than a lot of hostals we did) ; Very cheap also for the cleanliness ; The beds for 2 are big ; The bathroom is always clean ; There is a beautiful kitchen you can use ; Near the center ; and the staff is very friendly!

Everything isn't perfect obviously: There are indeed no windows (going outside) in the room, and it can smell after 3 days if you don't open the door or the indoor window regularly ; Try not to have the room next to the bathroom, it can be very noisy..!

Rooms have no windows, it gets very hot and muggy in the room and it only had one tiny fan. The shower does not get hot, barely gets warm and the bathroom is so small you have to sit on the toilet sideways so you don't have your knees on the wall. The check in was extremely disorganized, we were told room 6 was ours but there's no sign on 6 and it was occupied. Then we were told 5 but it was also occupied. We eventually just went into an open room with keys. We were booked at a different hostel in town but they overbooked us (Jardin Secreto) so we were offered...

Nice little place to stay in Jardin. Perfect location to the main square and not far from bus stop either. Good WiFi and nice communal area.

Mould in the bathrooms and bedroom however, and not quiet in the slightest. Building site or workshop near by with drilling or grinding all through the day. Constantly.

Shared kitchen with some facilities, but no condiments provided.

Our room could have done with a blind as it was bright with light from the common area, and an extra bolt on the room door wouldn’t...
