I initially rated the hotel 3 stars due to issues with broken curtains and door lock in Room 105. However, I'm delighted to update my review to 5 stars. The hotel staff went above and beyond to address the problems.

They made several attempts to fix the curtains and, when unsuccessful, promptly moved me to another room, which turned out to be much better. The immediate action taken to resolve the issue was truly appreciated.

Special mention to Leider, who not only followed through on my request but also helped me move my belongings to the new room. He ensured that the curtains in the new room were fully closable. He's a nice guy. The staff's dedication and assistance were exceptional.

I highly recommend this hotel for its great price, excellent location, and, most importantly, its amazing staff. Also, the breakfast options were really good! 👍

ORIGINAL REVIEW: 🌟🌟🌟 The hotel is decent and in a pleasant area; the staff is friendly, and common areas are well-kept. However, deductions in stars are due to a few issues: 1) Curtains don't fully close. 2) The bottom lock of the glass door leading to a patio is broken. 3) The bathroom is outdated, and water leaks from one faucet control.

I feel unsafe because my room is visible from outside (curtains won't fully close, and patio door lock is broken), I reported the issues. It took some time for them to send someone. A helpful staff member attempted to fix the curtain but couldn't, promising further assistance. Another staff member arrived later, but I had to leave for dinner.

Movich Casa Alferez in Barrio Granada in Cali Colombia was simply spectacular! The place is very nice and it is located in one of the best areas in the city. The room was cozy and clean, everything worked well and had an a/c unit that kept the room nice and cold! Cali is usually hot. The hotel’s in house restaurant La Maria was amazing, the daily breakfast was delicious and offered variety so you can satisfy any mood and craving. The staff was professional, courteous, patient, respectful, helpful, and always willing to help 24/7. We felt safe and taken care of at all moments of our stay. I fully recommend this place to you, it will meet and exceed your expectations. You have to experience staying there! It is strategically located in the gourmet area in Cali, walk down a few blocks to get to Istoria de Amore, another fabulous restaurant with delicious food and awesome drinks. Have fun! Had initially booked for 2 nights and was going to move to a multinational chain hotel nearby but loved it so much, I decided to stay the entire 6 nights here. 4 things I liked best about this place - the breakfast menu was incredible - amazing variety you could order from - no stale buffets. Second, the staff - starting from David and Paula in the reception to Saulia in the dining room with Gabriel and Freddy assisting her, to Luis and Daniela in the bar -(sugar-free cocktails - thank you!) everyone was very accommodating, attentive and courteous. Daily newspapers and around the clock free tea and coffee! All this made this a great value for one's money! I used the gym in the terrace.
