Casa Palermo — Hotel in Medellín

The room was clean. That’s the only good thing I can say. The walls are very thin and could hear loud shouting at night. The reception staff was particularly unhelpful. I understand that the staff don’t speak English. But what I cannot understand is why she would make absolutely no attempt to translate using her phone knowing my Spanish is not good. The hotel is in a building in the residential area of Medellin. The room have windows only to the hallway. The room for tree or more people have a queen size bed and a single bed. No linen are provided, you have to request. The bathroom is small. Sometimes in the shower is only cold water. The cleaning is not the best. You can pay cash only no card are accepted. The breakfast is fresh made with toast and omelette orange juice and coffee or chocolate. They provide bus tour. They arrange at reasonevole price...

Hotel rooms are okay for the normal price. But we did a Reservation and when we arrived the price just raised over 30% and we got not informed or anything before. Because of a special weekend but we agreed before on a price which suddendly had that huge last moment Change where they knew exactly that due to the City celebration it will be difficult to find something else last second.
