This is a 3.5 star hotel, at BEST.
Pros: good location, safe area, overall clean hotel
Neutral: breakfast is just ok, same food every day, no way to toast or warm up any toast, waffles, pastries, etc.
Cons: Our problems started when we checked in at 1am. We traveled with our 3yo and the front desk insisted on a birth certificate even though both parents were present. All our last and middle names are the same. Finally I told him I’d get someone to get a picture in the morning
Our room was a bit dated, but the main issues were the sink backed up water and the shower pressure was awful with lukewarm water. I informed the front desk the next morning and they said they would look into it. That afternoon, both were still the same so I went and talked to them and they offered a room change. I asked to check the next room before packing up and moving and they insisted it would be fine. Well I’m glad I persisted because after going to the second room to check, the shower was ice cold after running for 2 minutes. The bellboy was with me and I had him check himself and he agreed. Finally we went out for the rest of the day just planning to change hotels and when we returned they offered us one more room to check. The shower was nice and hot (finally) so we made the swap. After our first night we realized the AC was broken. It ran constantly regardless of the thermostat temperature and blew cold air directly on the bed all night. So we ended up just staying without the AC rather than moving again.
Overall the hotel needs a major update. The lobby and superficial appearance is much nicer than the hotel itself and I would have rather stayed at a holiday in with functioning showers and AC. The staff are also undertrained, they are polite but lack any sort of polish or grace when dealing with problems. The morning of our checkout we had a 3:30am airport pickup and the front desk called at 2am to confirm…?! Obviously woke us up an hour early and never apologized on check out and didn’t thank us for our stay.
Overall it’s an ok hotel if you get a room with a shower, sink, and AC that works but there are probably much better options in...
Read moreFront desk at night and room service is awful. The restaurant is great, the location is okay. But they are super rude , they literally say they have room service and half the time don’t answer or give you a prepared sandwich option only. They get your order wrong half the time .
Specifically the guy Daniel at front desk he will call you at 3am and make up issues for you . I’ve been at this hotel for a week, and generally the staff is very courteous. But the few that are rude are just so rude you can’t stand being in this place . This man calls your room in the middle of the night and requests water bottles back ( literally) . Spent a week here spending 300-400$ a night on services and never an issue except with this dude . I paid my tab 3 times in the week and on my last days he called me to say they didn’t have my credit card on file and they needed the food back. I got so mad I told him to come take all the crap they sent me back and they actually did ( I guess better as garbage than a high paying customer- great business sense ). This is one obnoxious hotel. He destroyed my whole experience . Will never repeat.
Americans specifically , stay away. You will feel so disrespected it’s crazy. Stay at the Marriott or some American brand that values customer service and...
Read moreFirst impression on arrival was a nice, big lobby, staff were kind, and check-in was quick. We got a corner suite which has a living room and separate bedroom although space is funny as the hotel is curved. Upon entering our room we could tell the furniture was outdated but also that it was not very well cleaned. Laminated dark floor easily showed dust and sloppy mop streaks. TV and tables were dusty as well. The bathroom was the worst, not only does it look like a hospital bathroom but toilet kept leaking every 5 minutes, trash bin was stained, roof had some repairs done only to be left with an open hole. And then I noticed smeared toothpaste in the white tile. Towels were heavily used and stained.||The room could be connected with an adjoining room, which was empty for our first two nights but then the third night it was occupied and we could hear EVERYTHING.||||Gym is very limited, there is no pool, there are two jacuzzis we did not use that also seem dated. ||Room service was efficient and good, restaurant is ok.||||Management did follow up with my concerns after we were asked via email for...
