Pergamino is kind of a local institution, probably the most successful “real” cafe in town, drawing lots of visitors and inspiring many other cafes in terms of style and coffee offerings.

There are plenty other cafes for many tastes, this location in Oviedo is practically taken over by remote workers so it’s usually packed!

The music is a bit loud for my taste and for the whole cafe working bit, but I still love having work dates with my fellow remote worker friends that prefer this place!

Honestly speaking, I did not feel that there was anything special about this place. I went there expecting the caffe latte to be superior to Starbucks, the pastries to have that crispness and aroma of fresh baked to find instead the same bland flavors. When I go out for food or drink, I expect to find something unique and different than at home. That to me is the purpose of going out.

Nice! Always cool finding a gem. Came over here for a quick small breakfast and coffee. I had Hueveos Pergamino, my finacee had Pinche Huevos, along with the fruit and yoga, all awesome. I had an Americano and a Flat white after that (I enjoy coffee), she had a hot golden chai, she enjoyed it. Prices were fair and very reasonable, good value. The servers were genuinely pleasant.
