Extremely disappointed that bad advice from the staff regarding buses resulted in me missing a flight. Out of town travelers really depend on recommendations from hotel staff being well-informed and accurate, especially when travel plans depend on them.

We were booked through this hotel to catch a bus that they assured us would get us to the Cartagena airport in 4-5 hours, but it instead took 7 hours. Sometimes mistakes happen, or traffic is bad, but it was not a direct route, made several hours worth of stops along the way, and could not possibly have made it in 5 hours let alone 4. If we had been told that it would be an indirect ride, we would not have gambled with being late for our flights because it would have been clear that the timing was way outside...

Great stay! We even came back a second time. Good price, cheapest through airbnb. Every room has fans but second time we got a room with airco which wasnt an excess with that crazy humidity :p Very nice location, it was far enough from all the (slightly over the top) loud music but still conveniently connected to the main street and coastline. Hosts where very kind. Nice kitchen with fridge and all basics. Save and clean. They even have laundry service although it was very expensive. 10k per kilo(or pound?) which ads up quick. We had half a shopping bag and that cost us 30k!! Then again, maybe its normal and laundry is expensive everywhere in Colombia?? :)) Anyway, would...

A great little hotel. For the price-performance is outstanding. Have spent more than a week here. It is constantly being cleaned, even at night I saw a sweep in the public spaces. Security is flawless, there is no need to worry. All questions about tours can be answered at the reception. I checked out some hotels and hostels in the area and this is by far the best for the price. Apparently you should be a bit careful in the corner when you come home at night, it was said to me by locals. However, I often went back to the hotel at night and nothing ever happened. And if you are single travelers, you have to know that this hotel does not tolerate any guests unless you have checked...
