This is easily the best hostel I have stayed at in South America. It has everything you need for the hot climate of North Colombia. You are 2 minutes walk to the beach and the supermarket, it has a pool that is cleaned every single morning, the best kitchen I have used as it is so well equipped with every pot and pan and utensil you need to make anything to your desire. The rooms are also unbelievable as they leave the air con on for you all day so if you want to go for a siesta, sleep in or go to bed early the room is always nice and cool. The beds are super comfy and the sheets are changed every few days whist your there. There also very quiet in the rooms if people are outside partying and the music is going. They also hang dry your clothes and not tumble dry them which was a massive plus for me so they do not shrink. They have an awesome outdoor chill out area with a Bar to serve your every need as well as constant music coming from the bar creating a great Atmosphere. They have an indoor area as well equipped with multiple ceiling fans to keep you cool and a huge TV you can watch Netflix on if you want to chill out. Now I get to the staff, the staff and the 2 owners are the best people I have ever met at a hostel they are so up bet and happy and so welcoming and help you with absolutely anything you need. I really needed help one day to sort some stuff out and because I don't speak spanish one of the owners took 5 hours out of his day to drive me into Santa Marta and be my translator to get all of my stuff sorted out. I seriously can not rate this Hostel any hire. I ended up staying 12 nights here because I just loved it so much it feels like your staying with family. Also, the...
Read moreThis is a lovely hostel with a nice pool and jacuzzi. There’s also a nice bar area with table tennis and darts. The room was great too, big and cool. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent, standard eggs and coffee.||One major problem is that they play loud music throughout the day unitl 11ish by the pool. Also on one of the nights we stayed there, people were up playing loud music until 5am and the night staff did nothing. I really liked this place apart from that. I think it would be perfect if you wanted to party every night and were a bit younger than myself. We spoke to the owner, who said they were planning to cut down on the music, as they had had several...
Read moreThis hostel is super nice and probably one of the more modern hostels in Taganga, very colorful and with a lot of love for details. Don't be afraid of the location as you can get to the beach in less than 5 minutes. It has a good happy hour with nice tunes, delicious free breakfast and the owner is just the lovliest and most helpful and caring guy you will ever meet! I was there during low season and so it wasn't too many people there which was a bit of a bummer when travelling alone but I guess there is a lot of potential for the travellers to create an even better vibe than the hostel offers already! Would def come back and recommend it...
