Vito Hotel Boutique in Taganga has truly been an unforgettable experience. We stayed here for three weeks, and from the moment we arrived, we knew it was the perfect place to relax and explore. The hotel is just a few blocks from the beach, local restaurants, and shops, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Despite being close to everything, the hotel remains peaceful, providing a serene atmosphere where we could unwind and enjoy the stunning views of the bay from the top floors.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with beautiful décor and the added bonus of AC, ensuring a restful stay. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast included with our stay — a perfect start to every day.

What made our time here truly special, though, were the wonderful hosts, Laura and her mother Servilia. They are incredibly warm and welcoming, and they genuinely care about their guests. Laura was a fantastic guide, providing great recommendations for excursions and local spots to visit. Every suggestion she made turned out to be perfect, and she made sure all our plans were well taken care of. We felt completely at ease knowing Laura was looking out for us and offering personalized advice throughout our entire stay.

Vito hotel is the best hotel in Taganga. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach, but yet just removed a few blocks to have more quietness and enjoy the beautiful and spectacular view of the beach. The owners, Laura and her mother Servilia are beautiful and wonderful people and excellent hostesses. They genuinely care about their customers as people, and want to ensure that their stay is safe, pleasant and enjoyable. They are very knowledgeable of the place; where to go and how to go about doing things and they will help you with any arrangements that you need. The rooms are spacious, cute, cozy and very clean . Das Hotel ist wunderschön und die Gastgeberinnen toll. Ganz ursprünglich wollten wir nur mal zwei Nächte dort schlafen. Am Ende wurde es unsere Homebase, von der aus wir alle Unternehmungen in der Gegend geplant haben und zu der wir immer wieder zurückgekehrt sind, um uns dazwischen Erholung zu gönnen.

Ich kann es sehr empfehlen; und wer wissen will, warum genau, dem empfehle ich den folgenden Roman.

Die Lage: Das Haus liegt an den Hang geschmiegt; wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, ist die Straße dort hoch etwas rumpelig, uns hat's nicht gestört. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. fünf Minuten unten an der Strandpromenade. Der Nachbar ist gelegentlich ein Fan von sehr lauter Musik (wer schon ne Weile in Kolumbien unterwegs ist, weiß, was „laut“ bedeutet), aber abgesehen davon ist es sehr ruhig, wir hatten die besten Nächte dort.

Das Haus/die Zimmer: Das weiße Haus ist wirklich hübsch, mit mehreren Ebenen, Dachterrasse mit Blick über den Ort in die Bucht und hübscher Terrasse zum Frühstücken. Vor den Zimmern gibt es Hängematten zum Seele baumeln lassen.

Die Zimmer und Betten sind groß und sehr sauber, jeder Raum mit einem individuellen schönen alten Möbel und Aircon, was extrem angenehm ist. Es scheint auch einen geheimnisvollen Zauberwichtel zu geben, der aufräumt und die Betten macht; irgendwie hab ich nie jemanden gesehen, aber wenn wir nur mal ein Stündchen weg waren, war das Zimmer danach piccobello. Danke!

Die Gastgeberin: Laura ist wie ein Schweizer Taschenmesser. Die Frau kann alles, weiß alles, kennt gefühlt jeden und organisiert irgendwie alles.

Sie hat uns bei so vielen Sachen geholfen, hatte auf alle Fragen eine Antwort, konnte uns Empfehlungen für Tauchschulen und Restaurants geben (gute Empfehlungen!), hat alles organisiert, was fährt oder schwimmt (ein Flugzeug haben wir nicht gebraucht, aber vermutlich hätte sie irgendwo im Keller auch das gehabt), Englisch kann sie auch und jedes Frühstück war wie eine Wundertüte und jedes Mal toll.

Ihre Mutter ist unglaublich süß und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns wirklich rundum wohl, umsorgt und aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir waren zwischen dem Lost City Trek, Palomino und Tayrona Park immer wieder dort und haben uns jedes Mal drauf gefreut.

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: ich kann einen Aufenthalt dort sehr empfehlen, weil sich der Ort genauso zum Rumgammeln eignet wie zum etwas Erleben. Wir haben beides ausprobiert. Ich würd's...
