Costa Rica Holiday Homes: UVITA OASIS RETREAT - (Casa Mediterranea), Villa, Cabins (little houses) , Apartment — Hotel in Bahía Ballena

Our group of eight had a wonderful time together here. There's room for six couples, with a main house, and four separate apartments. They all had king size beds, and we used the main house to gather nightly, grill on the patio, relax, swim in the pool and enjoy the beautiful tropical garden. The kitchen was completely stocked, even over stocked, with what we needed to prepare great meals from morning coffee to evening feasts.

The fresh fruit from the garden added to our lunches and dinners. We cut flowers and made bouquets to have in the house and enjoyed them outside. If mosquitos were present they didn't bother us. There's parking for at least five cars, more probably if you book the entire property. Walking distance to great restaurants, tour companies, the beach, shopping, lots to explore nearby. Five minute drive to the grocery store, drug store, etc. Uvita itself is a nice spot to go out on the ocean, and just a short drive to mangrove tours, Manuel Antonio, it's centrally located. Truly I can’t say enough good things about this place and our experience staying here. I’ve stayed in 20+ Airbnb’s across Costa Rica, and this one is the best equipped, most comfortable, and beautiful of them all. As far as choices in Uvita, the location is perfectly accessible, but not in the middle of a noisy street. When you are outside, you’ll be surrounded only by the sounds of nature!

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you may need. The pool is perfect, and the views are incredible! They even have a telescope in the upstairs loft that you can use to see all the local wildlife hidden just beyond normal view.

We really enjoyed our extended stay at this property. The grounds were very well maintained, and the foliage was just gorgeous to relax in; we spent a lot of time in and by the pool, which had warm, very clean water.

The rooms themselves (we stayed in two, the Apartment and one of the cottages) were also nicely arranged and stocked with more than the usual supplies and cookware. Because we were a larger group, we used the main home as the hangout, which worked out really well. I would recommend this property for families and groups of friends.

Finally, the owners were super responsive when we did encounter issues, and whatever came up was quickly resolved. And they're friendly! We set up numerous tours in the area, all arranged by management. Highly recommended for your next...
