Hotel Rosina — Hotel in Grad Makarska

When you think of most popular beach holiday destinations there are usually many attractive hotels close to the beach, bars & restaurants etc. They usually have a swimming pool, very large restaurant, shops and fitness centres.|On the other hand you might like a small, friendly family run hotel with more personal levels of service. If so then the Hotel Rosina is the perfect choice. It is immaculate, the staff are very friendly and helpful, it has inside and outside dining areas, the majority of rooms are much larger than average and the seafront is less than ten minutes walk away.|There is an excellent choice at breakfast to satisfy all tastes and if you are on half-board as we were, you pre-order your choice of three courses from a menu given to you at evening meal the night before. There was a choice of four items from each of the three courses. If you want even more choice book in as B&B then you can still dine in the restaurant and choose from a larger menu.|One noteworthy item to mention is room service. This is so efficient that when you return to your room after having had breakfast your room is done !|If you want to stay more than a few days then a sea view room is strongly recommended.|The hotel is not really suited to people with restricted mobility as there are some steps but it is a good base if you like walking.|We will definitely stay here again on future...

Everything about this hotel is perfect. This is a small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who have the knowledge and contacts you do not normally experience in hotels. In addition to this, the hotel is located outside the hectic part of the town — 5-to-6 minutes distance form the beach —, and is perfectly located if you are traveling by car, because you can easily get out of the town — towards Split or Dubrovnik — and avoid standing in long queues through towns one-way streets. They offer car park completely free of charge, which is a rarity in the world of hotels, and that's a big advantage. We also saw options for electrical cars! An exceptionally good selection for breakfast. We opted out of the dinner scheme because we prefer to dine out and the staff were very helpful in giving tips where we could enjoy good local food - but we saw many of the hotel guests stay for dinner so we assume their food is delicious too. We stayed in one of the central room on the first floor with superb view of the sea and in the horizon the island of Hvar. The room was comfortable and very clean, and so was the balcony. Hotel situated on the main road so easy to find. Ample parking with an underground facility. ||The rooms were well appointed, however there was no facility for making your own Tea or Coffee in the rooms. ||The restaurant was excellent and the service was superb. ||The hotel is quite a long way from the beach which is a disadvantage, but there are many excellent beaches in the area where parking is available within a couple of minutes walk.
