Guesthouse Aroma — Hotel in Grad Makarska

This is a truly lovely hotel — clean, spacious, and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room was large, with a balcony offering a beautiful view — you can even catch a glimpse of the sea!

There’s a private parking area right behind the hotel. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot (not in front of the hotel), you’ll be able to see your car from your balcony, which is a definite plus.

Upon check-in, guests receive a voucher worth €8 to use at the bakery located on the ground floor of the hotel — such a thoughtful touch! The pastries there are absolutely delicious.

The beach is just a 10-minute walk away, with two public beaches nearby. But if you’re looking for something more secluded, you will need to go further.

Since the hotel isn’t directly on the seafront, it’s very peaceful at night — perfect for a good night’s sleep.

For the price, this hotel exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend...

Very nice place in Makarska. It is called guesthouse but in my opinion, it has pretty much all the facilities of a Hotel. Room was really spacious, beds comfy, bathroom really big and we even got upgraded to a room with balcony which was really nice during hot summer nights in Croatia. Also, really close to the beach - Only about 5 minutes walk. ||We slept thru our breakfast every morning, but staff had no problem with giving us something from the bakery in the evening instead. ||Staff was really nice and pleasant. What can I say, I loved this place.||Staff: polite, attentive,friendly.||Parking: free private parking or free public one.||Room: brand new, clean, spacious, modern. There's a big tv and a fridge you can use.||Bathroom: as the room.||Beach: 5 to 10 minutes walking downhill. ||Food & Beverage: Free item (croissant, bread, krapfen) each morning at the bakery down the guesthouse. There's a café too.
