Hostel Oasis — Hotel in Grad Split

😊: I had a good experience with Hostel Oasis where I rested well. A simple hostel, calm, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The beds are comfortable, and the lower beds have curtains for privacy. The rooms have AC, which can become very comfortable in the intense summer heat. 😊: A small hostel in a residential district of Split, very close to the bus station that will take you to the centre (just a few stops) and close to cheaper restaurants with a daily meal option. Staff are very helpful and communicative. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm; the beds and lockers are good, the rooms are quite small and could be cleaner. The toilets and showers are cleaner and spacious. 😊: Man muss ein bisschen laufen, um ins Zentrum zu kommen, aber das stört nicht. Der Manager Mirko, sofern er denn da war (das Hostel schien sich zu einem großen Teil erfolgreich selbst zu führen), war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Alle Fragen, die sich vor und während des Aufenthalts ergaben, wurden schnell und kompetent beantwortet. Die Atmospähre des Hostels war sehr familiär. Das hat mir sehr gefallen. An der Rezeption war wie gesagt nicht oft jemand, aber alles hat trotzdem wunderbar funktioniert, es war sauber, und wenn man Fragen hatte, konnte man Mirko direkt kontaktieren, was immer schnell beantwortet wurde.. 😢: Nur eine Sache war etwas merkwürdig. Es gab für jeden nur einen Schlüssel für die Eingangstür. Die Zimmertüren waren offen. Sie konnten ohne Schlüssel von außen geöffnet werden. Das war etwas ungewohnt und hätte mich gestört, wenn das Hostel größer gewesen wäre. So war es ok. Da es Schließfächer für jeden gab (kein eigenes Schloss notwendig), konnte man wichtige Sachen sicher lagern.
