Villa Mala Split — Hotel in Grad Split

Great apartment in a really good location. Spotlessly clean, great decor and layout. Our only issue was the water. We paid extra for the penthouse with “hot tub”. While the views are excellent, the hot tub was actually a jacuzzi bath and the hot water ran out when the bath was only a third full so it didn’t even cover the jets. The owners said we should have ran the cold water first but essentially the hot water comes from a tank so when that’s empty you have to wait an hour for it to heat up again. This was really disappointing and meant we only used it twice because it was quite a faff. Another issue was the shower in the ensuite is just a waist height hose so we never used it. Our stay at Villa Mala was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious & a perfect place for us to unwind. Lady Suzy & Maja make you feel right at home and that you’re taken care of. There were welcome beverages ready for us on arrival. Every detail was thought of in this space. Laundry service for 100KN per load.

Very close to some amazing restaurants & beaches. And still within walking distance of the main area in Split. We did also uber to if we didn’t feel like walking 25 minutes to the city. The neighborhood this Villa is in is quiet and nice to walk around in. We didn’t use the pool but the private balcony was nice to sit on at the end of a long day exploring Split.

Beautiful property around 20 mins walk from Old Town Split. We hired the 3rd floor penthouse for 4 adults for 3 nights. Small property with only a few rooms. Spacious accommodation with 2 separate double bedrooms, 1 bathroom and en-suite. Good size open plan living area / kitchen. 2 furnished balcony areas, one with double jacuzzi. Sea views. Tastefully decorated and furnished in a luxury modern style. High end feel. Very clean and almost new. Lift access. The owner Maja was there to meet us on arrival. Lovely host!
