Dis recommendation for the odysseia Hotel Kapetanios in Limassol
Dinner at the hotel was very poor, Food was served at dinner that we couldn't eat (mixed meat and milk, etc. in terms of kosher) We went to the reception right after our first dinner at the hotel and asked to change our vacation package from half board to breakfast only We were told by the reception that they contacted Booking and would get a confirmation from them to change the reservation and that they would refund us with the difference. Since then we didn't go to dinner at all at the hotel and in the evening we went to eat in restaurants. After about two days we were told by the reception that the refund is approved and we will see the refund from booking within two weeks at the bank. After about two weeks, we contacted the hotel on the booking app and also by email, but for two months without any response from them! We contacted Booking's customer service and they claim that they are also unable to get hold of the hotel, after two months Booking informed us that they talked to the supervisor at the hotel and she claims that we are lying, and we ate dinner at the hotel all days (8 days), and even the hotel's chef came to offer us alternatives Kosher food for dinner is what was not and was not created I asked Booking to contact the hotel with a request to receive the records of the dinner to see whether we actually ate at the dinners or not, and if we didn't, that they would refund us with the difference because of course the hotel is lying, I was told by the booking supervisor that no matter what happens if the hotel does not approve the refund, they do not return the money no matter what, but as a good gesture they want to give me a refund of 25 euros!! ! It should be noted that the hotel approved the refund when we stayed at the hotel, after checking out and when we left, they denied the case and claimed that we were lying In addition, the baby bed we received was broken, the board of the mattress was completely broken. I contacted the reception and they told me that they had nothing to do with it. It was 8:00 pm and our baby wanted to sleep but her bed was broken! The girl from the spa got us a hard yoga mattres so that our baby could sleep tonight, the next day they changed the bed after fights with the representative at the reception. Do not approach this hotel, horrible staff, horrible food, and horrible service!!! We will never order again through Booking following their denial of the case and especially we will not set foot in this...
Read moreThis hotel is a high end 3* hotel but the stay was 5* for a family of four. This hotel was always busy in reception but had a calming atmosphere that ran throughout from the pool to the dining room. I don't normally write reviews but I do read them and some weren't that great for this hotel, so it starts to set doubt 'of what have I booked'! There were quite a few bad reviews about the breakfast but I don't know why? There was a good selection of fresh hot and cold choices, good coffee machine, fresh bread so I disagree on the reviews for this. There were Also bad reviews on staff not been helpful or couldn't be bothered??? this I really would disagree with! The staff were really helpful. Having had a bad journey the male night receptionist got us checked in quickly. I had hired a car but there were no spaces in the small carpark which is the closest to the entrance. Yet he allowed me to park in a no parking area and said he could appreciate the long journey we had had and just get to bed and explained if there is a problem in the morning someone will knock on your room. The waiting staff were all really cheerful, especially the lady that ran the pool bar I think she was called Anna ( she has short hair). Each meal they would chat with us and were so pleasant. The rooms were really clean, and made up each day, with fresh towels and all the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The television in the room had a large selection of channels, with English movies- that were great to switch on for a chill-out before going down for the evening meal. We stayed full-board and the lunch and evening meals were lovely, large selections of; fresh bread, starters, salad bar, main dishes and desserts which included a selection of fresh fruit.
The large pool and baby pool were both heated and there was a lifeguard on duty for the pool opening times. The lifeguard was friendly and would engage with the children. Next to the baby pool there is a small enclosed park which was great for little ones.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if...
Read moreI would like to share my experience with you of my staying in Kapetanios Odysseia Hotel. Below you can see at least the most unbelievable things and situations that I faced:
Hotel manager shamelessly burst into my room. after one knock, I got up, but before I even had time to get to the door, she had already entered my room. What if I'm naked or sleeping or even in a bathroom? Thus, the hotel manager decided to check if my place was clean. Strange and not ok. Hotel Employees drew on my shirt with a pen! I sent the shirt to be washed, which had no tags on it. No one warned me that they would mark the room to which the item should be returned with a pen right on the shirt! It is impossible to vanish this drawn number on my shirt. 3.I was locked in the gym and then was blamed that employee did not see me. The gym works until 19:00, which is absurd, considering that I worked until 18 and didn’t have time to get to the gym by 19. I didn’t know about the closing time, and nobody told me. I went to the gym and was locked there. And it wasn’t the problem as I said to employee, it is ok and I did not want to claim. However, The next day, the gym employee convinced me that I was not there, since she checked everything. And she was arguing and trying to blame me for this situation. What kind of gaslighting is this? The same employee from the gym examined my face closely and said what face problems I had and that I urgently needed to get rid of acne and blackheads. The same employee from the gym was an employee of the spa. The girl decided to take a very close look at my face and tell me that I have some problems and I need to see her immediately. rude! Even without her, I know about problems with facial skin, but she doesn’t know that perhaps for the last 1.5 years I have been stressed and depressed and overloaded with various tasks, which could also cause a problems on my face. This is not good way to sell your service! In a restaurant, they poured water into a dirty glass with a fly and strong smell of alcohol! No further comments are...
