To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. My husband arrived at Cosy Corner 1.5 hours before our reservation to book a specific table where we planned to celebrate our wedding anniversary. However, when we arrived, we were shocked to find out that our table had been given to someone else! We were offered a different table, far from where we wanted to be. I was already upset with how this was being handled, but it only got worse. Yes, I understand that our group was a bit larger, but that doesn’t justify completely ignoring a reservation made well in advance.
We were seated at a table that wobbled as if it was missing a leg—completely unacceptable! Naturally, we were upset and decided to leave. A waiter stopped us and promised that in 4-5 minutes, he would fix the situation and seat us at our originally booked table. Reluctantly, we agreed to wait.
Twenty minutes passed, and not only was nothing done, but no one even came to check on us! To make matters worse, the family who was given our table continued to be served while we were left ignored. No drinks, no service, no apology. We wasted 30 minutes of our time, hoping for some level of decency, only to leave completely humiliated and upset.
The food at Cosy Corner may be good, but the way we were treated was beyond disrespectful and unprofessional. They ruined what should have been a special day for us. I am deeply disappointed and seriously questioning if I will ever return to this place.
Thank you for ruining our...
Read moreCosy is cute, very affordable little restaurant placed in secluded area that gives feeling of privacy, at night time the ambience is even more special. Food vise they are offering mainly traditional cousine, recently they introduce new menu that has section of meze concept. Be prepared for good quantity of food, full of flavours and specific touch of homecooked meals. Soups are definitely highlight of the restaurant, you can choose any option without regret. As well you don't want to miss appetizer selection platter if you're Balkan food lover. Service is decent and polite with a space of improvement. All in all good experience and definitely place that I'll...
Read moreWhere do I start? We walked by on the way somewhere else, and decided to eat here because it looked so jolly. The soups were wonderful (I recommend the Borscht), and the main courses were fantastic as well as huge. I had "Grandmother's Jar" - which had smoked pork belly and sausages and was one of the best meals I have ever had. My two companions were very pleased with their choices too. Service was very friendly too. Highly recommended....
