When you travel a lot you begin to believe that your life can fit in a carry-on bag. That exact moment, after an exhausting day, multiple flights, an hour long drive in a rental and a walk on a paved pathway in a cold rainy night, you come to a glass door at the end of an alley and all you can see, feel and hear is the most wonderful soft voice welcoming you and trying to take all your troubles of the trek away.
Suddenly you realize that this is not a common place - it is a genuinely boutique hotel, in an old classic shell, extremely clean, warm and totally modern in the inside.
And then, that friendly voice behind the reception transcends to a laugh as she perceives your confusion and disbelief towards such unprecedented quality. She will offer to help you to your room, show you all the amenities and hidden lightning switches and make you feel like you are: HOME. Hidden lights (did I say that already?), modern wooden floors, an AMAZING bed, bath+shower with the most fantastic towels!! + APIVITA toiletries + slippers + a toothbrush! yes!! and what a bed! (said that already too?) a king-size supercalifragilisticexpialidocious double bed with more pillows than you can handle! with a great restaurant, in a quiet-next-to-everything neighbourhood, this is the crown jewel of Limassol hospitality.
If you have lived the life of a traveler, if you are always somewhere, if the way is your way, if you heart still longs the life of the condottiere, you will see your way to the old port hotel and repose in its peace...

My girlfriend and I live in Limassol but decided we wanted to book a room to celebrate my birthday in the heart of the city, so we booked a "Junior Suite City View" Room for €149 for one night, and to be completely honest, it was worth every penny! And it's funny this is considered 3-star because I've stayed in 4-star or even 5-star rooms that didn't match the quality found here!
The room itself was cozy and exquisite—with its simple yet elegant wood & marble design, sleek modern bathroom and mirrors, nice complimentary bathroom products, TV with a Netflix account, small balcony with a great view of both the seaside and old town (we got a 3rd-floor room, which is absolutely the best way to go), and the flawless bedding that made it hard to want to get up in the morning! And it goes without saying that as far as location and ease-of-access to shops & other city activities, you can't get better than this. Also, I would like to shoutout staff members Georgia and Maria, who were both extremely accommodating and friendly every time we needed anything, thank you guys!
Read moreThe worst client service ever in my life. 26.06.2022 I came to the lobby Oldport Hotel and asked for the room. The staff told that they have only superior rooms at the moment and if we are looking for a cheaper standard room we can change room next day. We did not want to change for a cheaper one, declined her suggestion and decided to book superior room for 2 days stay via Booking app. Booking app made a success reservation for 2 days superior room.
When we came to check inn staff told that next day we have to check out room 204, wait 2 hours and change room to 304 because new client wants my room with balcony. Am I not a Client? Why the other client is more important? How about my rights as a client?
The staff wasn’t friendly and didn’t make any steps to make our stay/forced room changing convenient for me as a client. They blocked key at 12 and didn’t gave new room at 12. They didn’t suggest us to stay in 204 room till 2pm. They also didn’t even try to fast the process of cleaning the new room. Why as a Clint who payed the room I have to sit now in the lobby and waste my time? Did I pay my money for lobby?
Terrible client service.
I would like to get letter of apology...
