Aristoteleion Mezedopoleion — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

The restaurant is at a good location and has a good setting outside with reasonable prices! HOWEVER, the service is insanely slow as they are severely understaffed! Only one waiter for the whole restaurant. When the food eventually arrived the quality was underwhelming and almost not edible! The lamb chops (paidakia) were cooked on a grill and not charcoal; fatty and raw! The Fried zucchini had more butter on it than fish and chips! The salads were ok! In summary this place is to be avoided at all costs and only visit if it is the only place with a free table within a range of a mile!!! (Forgot to mention that the steel ladder leading to the upstairs toilet was not secure and moving dangerously and the toilet lock in the gents not working! So u could be seating there having a No.2 and anyone could walk in! Get a grip guys and if you can’t run a restaurant...

We visited the store we ordered the meat platter and the owner told us we can't have it and insisted that its the same as the meze and we needed to be charged twice. 50 euro for a meat platter!!!

In the menu clearly shows meat platter and meze as two different products and the meze reads for minimum 2 people priced at 16 euro per person while the meat platter priced at 25 euro as all the other items in the menu has no mention per person or moq.

Very rude owner, totally tried to ripoff the “tourists” unaware that we are locals to pay double. We left paying for the water and beer we ordered and never drank.

Nice place. Friendly owners/staff. Cozy. Has live music a bit later in the evening which is quite good and creates a bit of nostalgic atmosphere. Seems that it turns into more student attracting mode around 22:30ish. Two things to fix though: playback music before the live should be either louder or less noisy. It was somewhere in the middle which made hard to enjoy but still noticeable and that was a bit annoying. The other thing is about the food, grilled meats could have been a bit more done..
