IL Castello Restaurant — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

We have visited this place due to good opinions. First impression wasn’t even proper. After few minutes standing in front of bar we had to ask Waiter if there is possibility to eat and drink. We were told we have to wait few minutes where there was a lot of free tables. About dishes - we have ordered vegetarian dishes (burger with chips and wrap with nachos). In menu it was written wrap is serving with vegetables - in reality it was tortilla with naked salat, unfrozen broccoli, and little pieces of avocado, without any dip, other “vegetables”. Burger was completely dry, with unfrozen wege-chop, without any dip, sauce as well. In comparison with other dishes, both was the worst We have ever ate, especially with those high prices. Meanwhile eating there were a lot of wild cats which were consistently disturbing mealtime. I totally do not recommend...

One of the worst restaurant experiences – avoid at all costs!

We ordered gin and tonics, but the drinks were terrible – completely tasteless, like they were diluted with water. We asked for new ones, and they remade them. In total, we had 4 drinks. The expected bill was €24, but we were charged €42!

The bartender was completely unprofessional, rude, and arrogant. When we questioned the bill, he claimed we were charged for three rounds of drinks, which should have come to €36, but he still insisted on charging €42 without any clear explanation.

This is not about the money, but about the rudeness and total lack of professionalism. Absolutely awful place – do yourself a favor...

Very nice restaurant with outdoor seating, great salads, and local fare, and a friendly professional staff. The management was particularly helpful following an unfortunate accident in which my wife had a serious ankle injury and a broken foot while visiting ancient Kourion. The manager arranged for a wheelchair to be delivered the next day, and the entire staff was extremely helpful. We were required to spend 10 days in Limassol until my wife was able to fly back home, and we ate at this restaurant many times. The location, food, and staff made our nights out extremely entertaining and comfortable. I highly recommend...
