Guest Café Bar is a really amazing place. The music is great, the atmosphere is vibrant, and the decoration inside is beautiful – everything creates a wonderful vibe that makes it a very enjoyable spot. The drinks are also good and well-prepared, which adds to the overall positive experience.
However, the service could definitely be improved. I also noticed a kind of subtle discrimination toward some tourists or younger people, especially those who are not there to spend a lot of money. For example, when I went with my friends just to have a few drinks, we were not given a table because they said the tables were only for people having dinner or spending more at the bar. That left us with the feeling that unless you are there to spend a big amount, you won’t get the same treatment.
That being said, the bar itself is very nice and worth a visit. The music, drinks, and ambiance are really enjoyable. I think with a better approach to customer service, this place could easily be one of the top spots. Overall, it’s a good bar and worth...
Read moreI used to visit this place for many times (usually in the morning to have my coffee) and i stopped for a while ... and yesterday night i went with my friends to chill and have our cocktails and then a woman came to us and started asking if we are up to 25 years old ... i really dont understand why ... 2 years ago this woman also asked me if i am 18 and told her yes but i didnt have my ID card so we needed to leave. I also remember when i came there months ago at night no one ask me about my age and i sat there without any problem .... this is really unacceptable to bahave like this to customers and what is this policy? Why not the whole staff respect this policy then? Why do i have to feel uncertain if they will accept me to sit at this bar or not? This is unacceptable. EDIT It is really sad to lose young clientele but looks like this policy is more important than the customers Thank you for...
Read moreThe place is cosy; however, the service is really poor. First of all, one man was quite rude in the beginning, kept telling us that we needed to be up 25. Instead of asking for an id, he was saying that we looked too young (even though the whole group was close to 30 y.o); after I told him that we could show an id, he told me that he believes us but still telling us that we look too young, which was at one point intimidating. It will be easier if he asks for id in the beginning without this long talk…After a bad cocktail and failed effort to make it better, service personnel, instead of apologising, started the long discussion, which was very overwhelming and humiliating. Two other cocktails were also not the best. I don’t recommend it to people who are looking for...
