It makes me so sad that I only give these apartments 3 stars.||This is our 3rd year back here, and unfortunately, we have been a little disappointed with the service.||The first time we came, 2 years ago...it was such a wonderful place. Full of warmth and that Cypriot charm and wonderful hospitality. It was run by a family, we'd get a slice of watermelon by the pool, the bar served fresh orange juice, and we really felt cared for, valued, and looked after.||We came last year. The family had left. Nobody is running the bar. It's disappointing, especially when we had to leave the premises to get drinks etc. But, it was quiet...and there's a decent restaurant right next door for a nice lunch. So it wasn't so bad, even though there was that something missing....the Cypriot hospitality from the previous year.||Now, this year. We returned, and there are new people running the bar area. We thought, ah amazing... we have everything we need right here. ||Yet, sadly, we found the people checking us in and serving behind the bar abrupt and rude. Like they could not be bothered to serve a paying guest. We happened to stay in the week of a heatwave, 40-degree heat, no water melon by the pool, or any gesture of a cold drink. Cypriot charm and hospitality this time had certainly not been present.||We decided to come to our room on one of the days to avoid the heat. Our toddler was napping, as was i (7 months pregnant).|We had a very loud bang on our door, from the lady running things, telling us we were due to check out that day, there and then. My partner calmly told her that we had paid for 4 nights not 3, she went away and checked her computer (which surely she should've done in the first place) and she saw that we had indeed paid for 4 nights and that we were not due to check out that day as she was insisting. We received no apology. It's really disappointing to feel so unwelcome in a place we really do like returning to so much.||The bar also operates a cash only system. We paid our tab of 2 frappes and an ice cream...we had worked out the exact total, of course they tried to over charge us, until we pointed out the menu and itemised all the things we had.||The accommodation is perfectly fine. Very pretty grounds. Rooms spacious and clean. Although, we did have to battle ants in our studio this year. The cleaners are the unsung heroes, they work tirelessly, 12-14 hour shifts in the blazing heat ensuring our rooms are spotless and the grounds are well kept.||The location is also great, a restaurant right next door and across the road with plenty of little shops nearby to get pretty much any essentials you may need, and a short walk to the beautiful beaches of protaras and the main strip with all the bars, shops and restaurants.||Would we return? Possibly. But unfortunately, this wasn't the Flokkas we knew and fell in love with this year.||Bring back Cypriot charm and hospitality and it's the perfect place to stay...

The hotel is of a very reasonable level, the pool is not that clean, I doubt they do cleaning and water tests there, we had to leave for personal reasons and we were assured by the hotel manager that he would refund us the money for the remaining four nights, until now he disclaims responsibility and suddenly claims that he has managers who have to approve it, what That was not discussed at first. I hope he gave up on himself quickly, so due to his unreliability I will not recommend this hotel

On 10/16/2023 We rented a room from you at Flokkas Hotel Apartments, Protaras, Cyprus until 10/23/23.
The hospitality was overall good but unfortunately we had to leave on 10/19/2023 for personal and unexpected reasons.
When we informed the hotel manager about this, he replied that there is no problem leaving early and that they would refund us the full amount for the remaining nights, he asked that we give him the account/credit number so that he could refund, so we left the hotel.
At the end of the conversation it's was agreed with him that the next day on 10/20/23 he would come to the hotel himself and contact us in order to transfer the remaining difference (280 euros) to us.
On 10/20/23 the hotel manager did not contact us but we called him. he in response disavowed what he said the day before and said that he himself is not the owner of the place and needs the approval of the company and the company did not agree to the refund. After we demanded, we received a phone number of the "Company" Miss Anna, but the phone is inactive and no one answers there (24651802)
On Monday we called him again, he replied that he would look into the matter and get back to us and since then every day that we call he hangs up on us or doesn't answer.
We ask to consider our situation, it is a situation of war at home and in our country and therefore things were not expected.
We would like to get a refund for the days we did not sleep in the hotel, or at least be considered and refound us a part of the amount.

Read moreWe stayed here 9 nights in September ||||Great quiet location within easy reach of bars and Restaurants and 10 minute walk to the Sunrise beach 45 minute private transfer from Larnaca||||Room was very clean and serviced every other day by a lovely Vietnamese lady.||||Pool was clean, a little cold for some and flakes of paint land on you if windy while sunbathing.||||There is a bar and Restaurant but we never used but looked clean and tidy.||||I went twice on separate days between 10:00 and 11:00 to pay but nobody about in Reception and then got a note asking us to pay, the bill was £50 dearer than when I booked on booking.com but I accepted prices had gone up since booking over a year ago so be aware of that. ||||There is safe that you need a key for, cutlery, hob, microwave fridge and freezer, TV with BBC World News and balcony in room 110. The air con is great, once you figure it out, you have to take the card out when out the room or €20 fine to get back, which ironically, they tell you about on the door but not how to work the air con!||||I sat on two sun loungers and both were broke and less abled people may well have been injured.||||Overall i would stay again for the price and location and book direct but we rarely visit the same resort twice abroad as the world is...
