As soon as we sat down at our table we were instantly brought a basket of complimentary bread and butter. Shortly afterwards we got to order. The wait her for the drinks and food was not long at all. I had the calamari for a starter which was nice and was not even the fresh version which you can order as well. The portion size was modest and was about right for the average person. Next I got the mixed kebab, which came with chips, salad and onions. You can choose to have vegetables and jacket potatoe instead. This portion size was very generous and the food was very tasty and when compared to other restaurants is of high quality. The staff were friendly and hospitable and it was good value. Went past here yesterday.i asked if they serve halal food as i am Muslim and I only eat halal meat , the guy in picture I have uploaded qouted we only allow Christian orthodox not for salami Muslims only orthodox Christians. I was so disappointed and neva felt discrimination in my life . my freinds were like let's put it on trip advisor so ppl can know what a coward he is.we couldn't belive this dude how sick his remarks were we have respect for all faiths and was disappointed. Since it's family run I expected traditional food/atmosphere, but as the menu is quite wide I also gave a try to a pizza. I'm not sure if anyone sober or over 9 y.o. would give that pizza any positive feedback, sad to have it on the menu. Guests next to us had bolognese with similar frowns.
