Hotel Opat lies in excellent location - almost every historical building is one-two streets away. There are restaurants and shops in vicinity but if you don't want to you don't have to eat outside. The hotel restaurant is of great quality - food is tasty and prices are standard.||||Staff is really nice and helpful, service in overall is great. Rooms are clean and furnished according to the overall style of the hotel. It means you have a bed, a table with seats, couple of cabinets/closets and a TV. TV has about 5 channels, including BBC. When you stay in Kutna Hora you don't need a TV, believe me.:) You also get a free bottle of water per person each day, that was really pleasing. But the rooms don't have minibar or a safe. My only complaint would be about the bed. The mattress is really hard. That was really uncomfortable after two nights and it's a real shame because overally the stay was pretty awesome.||||There's a free wi-fi in the hotel with excellent signal and free hotel parking so that's a plus too.:)||||Overally I would recommend Hotel Opat, I enjoyed my stay and it's a great place for a short term visit (because of...

Read moreThis is a lovely hotel very close to many attractions. The room we had was huge, with a separate entrance hallway, very large bathroom, and gorgeous hand painted beamed ceiling. |We usually stay in 4-5* hotels, but this hotel was beyond MY expectations of a 3* |The staff were incredibly friendly, the breakfast was enjoyable. |We had a truly fantastic meal in the restaurant, with authentic Czech meals, our first night there. |The only downside was the shower didn't have a curtain, and water was all over the floor. However they quickly brought us towels to mop it up. There was a kettle in the room with tea/coffee and 2 bottles of water free. Many 4-5* hotels charge gor the water. |I was very happy with all aspects of this hotel, and would absolutely stay there again. |Wonderful gem...
