Hostinec U Černého kohouta — Restaurant in okres Kutná Hora

Absolute disgrace. We arrived as a group (5person), they let us to sit down, then they gives us the menu. After we make the order, we waited 40 minutes, then the waitress said, what we ordered is not available today. Then we stayed after tbis long time, and make a second order, and during the process the waitress spilled out one of our Cappy drink, and she tried to clean it from the table, BUT she did not cleaned it from the floor, so it stayed there during the whole time. After when we make the second order she said "yes the prices are wrong on the menu its more expensive" but anyway we tried or best so we stayed. The food has been cooked, and the waitres who bringed out did not knew what we ordered, and they did not even had the list about the order. When we wanted to pay, they tried to figure it out what we ate because they lost the paper what they are using to check the orders (they doesn't even has computers) and then they tried to add +100 cz to the final price. They are not ready for anything and the place itself is retro, but this was the least problematic things. The food itself was far from the average. Due all respect I recomend to everyone to stay away...

I should start by saying I’m not Czech but my girlfriend and her friend (our friend) are, so they brought me to this place that they’ve never been before as well and they had no expectations but believed this would be a good one, man they were so right, these 2 girls nailed it. It was a very nice experience overall, atmosphere was great, the service was outstanding, I mention this because even if I was doing my best to speak the very little Czech that I know to order stuff, I was butchering the language 😝 but the woman was super nice and comprehensive that made me feel welcome and appreciated; the culinary experience was simply amazing, I had deer goulash and it was just out of this world, I shared it with my gf and she shared her “Vepřová Krkovice” which also left me out of words, simply great, then my friend shared her “vepřová panenka” and same thing, simply delicious, oh and their local beer is just 🤤. An absolutely dreadful experience in every single way. We opted for this place only because the good looking places which are quite rare in Kutna Hora were all full. The restaurant wasn't full by any means, yet it still took the not very friendly staff almost 20 minutes to take our order. After 30 minutes the waitress came and told me that they don't have soup any more. After another 30 minutes they brought us 3 plates of probably the most disgusting ribs I've ever tasted. It was supposed to be 750g. It was 400 at most and 350 of that was solid bones. The rest tasted well..... yeah. We ended up returning the plates and left very disappointed. My only recommendation: avoid this place...
