Restaurant - Café HARMONIA, u sv. Jakuba — Restaurant in okres Kutná Hora

During our visit to Kutná Hora, we had the opportunity to dine at the "Harmonia" restaurant. Although the staff was polite and welcoming, the service was quite slow. The menu, moreover, left us a bit disappointed, as it offered few options and did not reflect the traditional Czech cuisine. Personally, I ordered a dish of couscous with chicken, which is not typical of Czech cuisine. The prices also seemed a bit high to us, especially considering that a soup (polevka) cost 100 Czech koruna, an excessive price compared to the average price in Prague, which is about half. In summary, I would recommend this restaurant only as a last choice. Although the staff was cordial, the slow service and limited, non-traditional menu did not make our experience...

❌Staff asked for a tip when paying. Tips will always be offered if service is deserving but asking for one is just rude.

❌ Took over 15 minutes to have drinks and food ordered. It was not busy at all.

Food arrived quickly, most were good. Some dishes were better than others.

❌Took another 15 minutes for the bill, and staff still didn't bring the bill so had to go inside to pay.

Limited vegetarian and no vegan dishes. Prices were more expensive than Prague. Outdoor garden seating with plenty of shade. Has upstairs outdoor seating. Located in a nice area just down from the castle...

The worst dining experience I have ever had and I've had some bad ones. The waitress was very rude, she acted as if we were a bother to be there. It took about 2 hours for the food to come out. Once it came out the meat was very overcooked. The person I came with ordered a different side and the order came out wrong. The waitress did not offer to fix the order.
