Hotel U Zvonu — Hotel in okres Kutná Hora

Great location to the most important/interesting sites.

The room was larger than expected.

The accommodations are basic but fully functional.

This is not a luxury hotel but you should know that based on the price and pictures.

The staff was nice, helpful, and friendly. They spoke limited English. Not an issue unless you have more complicated questions.

The hotel has no AC. My room had only a very small window with limited to no breeze. It was a little warm at night in the middle of May. But nothing too bad. If they had been having hot weather. I would not have wanted to stay in the same room.

I was not paying much attention at check-in and added the breakfast. While it was not bad and I was actually happy to have it that day. I would recommend skipping it and eating elsewhere. It was a bit expensive for what you got and the selection. You will do much better...

We really live this place. We stayed here just for one night at the beginning of December. The hotel is a walking distance to all the major sights. The host is very accommodating. The room is fairly basic but clean and comfortable. The shower is great with powerful hot sprays of water. We had our lunch here. Quite cheap for a good tasty home cooked plate. We had pork schnitzel cooked to perfection and the accompanying potatoes were the tastiest I've tasted. The beer costs about a £1 a pint. We had breakfast here extra cost €6 but it is a great spread and choices. Oh and the coffee is so good.|We were not to leave Kutna Hora until 5pm and the host let us check out to whatever time suits us which was a great help to us. Overall very happy...

Actually my rating is GOOD but that is not an option.||Our room was spaceous and clean. The young lady who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. Parking was free, but I gather that there is a restricted number of spaces available. Breakfast is very complete and good, but it is not inclusive and the extra 150 Kc per person is a bit upmarket. But for the rest very good value for money. ||||Minus: It was very warm and we had opened the windows during the night. The frequent traffic passing by was rather noisy. ||Slightly unpleasant: there were three single beds far apart, so I could not comfort my wife in case she had a bad dream (the last part of this sentence...
