Building and room are spacious, interesting, comfortable and renovated and furnished in a very nice way. Excellent place to stay and perfectly situated in the historical city center. Breakfast was nice and offered both expected and unexpected treats. |Instead of getting caught by the marketing of Chesky Krumlov, its much better to stay and enjoy Tabor and make a day trip to Cesky Crumlov, Ceske Budejovice or Hluboka. Well appointed and well located this pension is much more like a four-star hotel, except for the reception i.e. the lack of it. Breakfast was very good. My room was impeccable and spacious and we enjoyed our discussion with the owner after he helped us with breakfast. He is full of insights about the building, its history in their family and life under communist rule. if he’s around, ask him to see the cellar in the basement...

The location and great value for money make this a winner. Room was huge and with kitchen, though it would have been nice to have been warned you have to lug your suitcases up two flights of stairs yourself. ||Breakfast was good, although I felt it was a bit much to ask an extra Euro 1,50 for a second cup of coffee....
