PENZION Z&Z — Hotel in okres Tábor

This was a warm and lovely experience in a very comfortable and well equipped mini apartment in a very nice part of town and just a 10 minute walk to the historic centre.||||We had Apartment 4 (3adults) which had a small kitchenette with microwave, electric kettle, crockery and cutlery. The bed was very comfortable but the doonas were a trifle heavy for the time of year and I would suggest lighter ones should be available for the spring/summer onths. . There was a lounge area with a TV with two English channels. WiFi was strong. The bathroom had loads of hot water, hair dryer and all sorts of toiletries. There was a small room for baggage and clothes hanging. Everything spotlessly clean.||Zedenka, our hostess, had thought of everything to make her guests comfortable.||A special mention must be made of the excellent lighting throughout which made reading and “seeing” so much easier.||||We chose to have the breakfast every morning and it was an absolute stunner! Every morning there was something just a bit different from the day before – a local cheese, different types of bread from the farmers' market, abundant fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled eggs, great coffee. It was a feast!!||||||Zdenka spoke English and couldn't do enough for us. Her greatest wish seemed to be to make us feel at home – and we did!...

My wife and I came to Czech Republic on an Ancestry trip, after a couple days in Prague we took a train to Tábor as our home base to smaller nearby villages. Because of our personal schedule we arrived hours before check-in time, but thankfully Zdenka, the owner, let us drop our bags off as we went exploring. When I inquired about a laundromat Zdenka offered to wash them on site, which we did. I also needed a rental car and they took care of communication between the local car shop and I, and some ride-sharing necessities. Then, my wife's back went out as she had a slipped disc, and Zdenka offered up her own personal crutches to make the day worth while, and even offered to give up her own massage appointment to my wife. Set in a quite street not far from the central square, Penzion Z&Z is all you can hope for in a B&B! ||Our apartment was roomy and well lit, speckless, came with a well equipped kitchen with all you might need to make a romantic meal if you feel like staying in, and a great super clean bath with big soft towels.||Zdenka (the owner) is kind and helpful without being imposing, her thoughtful and personal touch is apparent everywhere in the apartment from the homely design to the amazing generous and super yummy breakfast brought to your door (great value, don't dare to miss it). ||Also the Wi-Fi is super fast!||We absolutely can't wait to...
