Me and my partner were introduced to Ron's Guest House through a cheap package deal on travel republic. We believed we were in for your average city break B n B experience - we were wrong, it was much greater than that. Immediately upon entering the apartments we were greeted by Ron, a gracious and interesting host who adores Prague and has lived there for 20 years. ||||It is vital that you allow Ron to take you through the entirety of the free map he offers in order to take advantage of the wealth of valuable information he is eager to give, in particular, what to see, what to avoid, how to make the best of your time in the city and even a basic history about the place. If you're interested in just shopping, then Ron will help you with that too, but if you want to know about Prague itself, this is the place to stay.||||I found the room clean, the shower basic, but temperature consistent and easy to use. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with a suitable thin duvet for the hot weather. I had absolutely no trouble sleeping. The breakfast is a straightforward offering of tea, coffee, bread, jam and toast - with a washing-up station and a hob for cooking in the shared apartment kitchen. Don't worry if anything runs out, or you want extra - there is a tesco express supermarket around the corner, or Ron refills the basics himself. ||||Ron is also quite happy to point you in the direction of appropriate restaurants for an authentic Czech breakfast, lunch or dinner.||||The apartment is located outside of the city centre, which means it is a quiet, less tourist-oriented area. It is not difficult to find and to hop on the 22 tram to the city centre and Ron sells the tickets for public transport so there's no danger of blagging through it yourself. ||||All in all, a wonderful holiday and birthday present for my boyfriend that quite simply would not have been the same if we did not stay here. If you want to feel like you're staying with a family member, consistently tended to as such and allowed to see Prague in a truly beautiful way then stay here! Ron even calls the airport taxi for you at the end of your trip, truly I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Prague.||||Thank you Ron for a truly special experience in this...
Read moreThe overall stay was comfortable. Ron was a great host as he provided answers to all our queries. He lives opposite our room thus, we could reach him anytime. Location was quite far in a residential area in Praha 13, but using the tram and metro was easy. Ron also sells single and day transport tickets. ||From Praha train station Hlavni Nadrazi, take Metro to IP Pavlova and then take tram #22 and get off at Ruska stop. The apartment is 3 blocks away. Only has 3 rooms.||Supermarket Tesco Express and lots of reasonable priced restaurants are nearby. Room was comfortable with kettle, toaster and fridge. Ron gave daily supply of bread. Coffee and tea also in room. Also a communal kitchen with electric stove and microwave that we could use. But don't expect hotel cleaning service as this was as apartment-type room rather than a hotel. ||We recommend this place for those who like quite...
