Disappointing Experience – Broken Shower and No Accountability
I wanted to like this place – I try to support small, family-run businesses when I travel. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing.
During my stay, the shower in my room was not working correctly and only had boiling hot water coming out. I tried to report the issue immediately, hoping for a quick fix or at least a reasonable solution. However they have no staff in the evening to help, and no number to contact for any help. Not only was the problem never resolved, but I was also told I would still be charged the full rate for the room. When I asked for a partial refund, the management declined, citing that they were a “small family-run business” and couldn’t afford to offer compensation. I responded asking them to reconsider their position, and they have chosen to ignore my requests.
While I sympathize with the challenges of running a small operation, I also believe guests deserve to receive the services they pay for. A working shower is a basic expectation—not a luxury. Refusing to take responsibility for that kind of failure, especially when brought to their attention, is not good hospitality.
I hope they reconsider how they handle issues like this in the future. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this property to others until they take guest concerns...

Well, all we want to say is that this is a unique hotel in the center of Copenhagen with warm and pleasant staff and a very tasty breakfast! We decided to spend our honeymoon in this city and chose the Nora Hotel, our flight was very early and the weather was not very good (it was raining) so we went to the hotel to leave our luggage. A very nice girl at the reception greeted us with a smile and unexpectedly for us, in 10 minutes we were already in our warm room with a beautiful view of the hotel courtyard. The hotel staff decided to upgrade our room and we are very grateful to them for this! A discovery for me was the breakfast - very tasty and beautifully served. You can choose what you would like for breakfast and in the morning when you come to a nice room to enjoy the delicacies, they will bring you everything you choose. I really liked the opportunity to make changes to the menu or the option of breakfast in the room / upper terrace of the hotel. The hotel is located so conveniently that you can get to the Round Tower or the Rosenburg castle on foot in 20 minutes. We will definitely come back to this place again and again! Thank you very much for the...
Read moreSolid spot to visit the city from, located out of the Tourist Zone. Lots of restaurants and shops including at least 3 food stores around —but this is not for you if you’re looking for beautiful building or rooms. |—-Lower floors VERY noisy from early morning trucks idling for deliveries etc. |—-Breakfast had some nice choices—was definitely adequate.||The hotel has gone to lengths to add a sizable elevator to its footprint. (note it is located about 30 feet past the main hotel door)|—-Getting entrance and exit to the hotel is easy with automatic doors. |—-We had to get to the airport at 5:45am and the early morning exit and key return was flawless (pay the night before and get details from the front desk if you need this)|—10-15 min walk to both train and metro||The staff are very helpful when you have questions on how...
