Meyers Madhus — Local services in Copenhagen Municipality

Very good food, small portions and terrible hosts. We went there for a teambuilding event, with an international crowd and the hosts/chefs were only speaking danish until asked repeatedly to speak in english for all of us to understand. We were laughed at by one of them for not understanding danish, and that fellt really sour.

Hosts aside, the recipe were in danish/english but not great. Not everything was in a disorder instead of the order of when to use it.

The food was great. If it was a normal restaurant I'd love to go and eat there again, but as a teambuilding event I really can't recommend it if you have anyone in your team that doesn't...

My experience for the Korean cooking class (taught in English) was top class. Fantastic and smooth planning & operation and a program that suits single participants as well as larger groups. The support from the local staff was really great, and we enjoyed a long dinner before heading home with kimchi and our recipe book, as well as a fantastic apron and all the tips from the chef. Var til firmaarrangement, hvor der skulle skrues en fire retters menu sammen. Fint personale og ganske god mad (som vi havde været med til at lave). Lidt irriterende mht flg: 1) at skulle finde råvarer og ingredienser (og jeg forventer ikke at de skal ligge foran mig på køkken, men at jeg kan finde tingene et sted); 2) komfurer var ikke af forventelig standard sådan et sted. Det var tricky at skulle indstille varme. Den eneste rigtige minus ved oplevelsen var vinmenuen til maden, som jeg synes, bestod af to svipsere og to ligegyldigheder, det var skuffende.
