On the expensive side, thin rapper, decent amount of filling, extremely good dipping sauce (a reduction a soy sauce and maybe oyster sauce mixed with chilli oil - a delicious gooeyness) ...byt unfortunately the filling completely bland... Reading the website the owner said he was trying to bring over the Hong Kong taste... What made me very sad was...that he must have had an amount of passion for food, cooking and dumplings to end up opening a business on a different continent... I'm wondering what made him lose this passion to end up producing a dish that has nothing in common with the real stuff... It really made me very sad...mostly because these is not a money related issues as a pork dumpling is made with basic ingredients...pork, green onion, ginger, sesame oil and from here a world of possibilities...my point is that you don't need expensive ingredients to make a good dumpling...you need love...and this is what these dumplings were lacking and you...
