Residencia del Paseo Las Terrenas — Hotel in Las Terrenas

Ok the place, in the outside, also the area with the stores and restaurants, is really nice. It has that European feeling. Really nice area. Many places to eat and shop. Now this hotel not good. It has a nice back side with trees and the swimming pool. Swimming pool needs a little bit of painting but is ok. Like I said really green with the trees. Now the room is terrible. Linens, covers and blankets were all stained. It has a small fridge and stove. Both were also stained with rust. Bathroom was a bit bad too. The faucet counter was dirty with other type of stains and the toilet had something stuck in the drainage. Small shower space but nice water pressure. It also had nice hot water. I contacted them a day before our check in and asked about an iron and towels and they said they have in every room. But when we got there there was no iron. We asked them for one and they said they don't have. I asked them who I talked to the day before and told me the have those in every room and they (the front desk) said they don't know. What a fool, we booked over Expedia this expensive hotel with nice pool and much stuff arround, we came there and the pool was not working, no water. No wifi no electricity no water for toilette - really nice 2 days. People at reception were not English speaking - it was proposed

They don’t do any refund, Expedia too. It’s ok that afterthe hurricane is special situation but we feel fooled, they should repair their hotel before offering all stuff which is not there

Absolute in love with that place. Had a great time there. The garden, pool and rooms are defently the highlight. And not to forget the hotel staff. They did a great job, very kind and helpful. Thanx for that!!! See...
