A traveler’s find of an excellent hotel in Quito Centro😎😎😎. Beautifully restored building from over 150 years ago.

Transport from/to UIO may be arranged with the host/proprietor after booking. The host is bilingual and answers emails 👏👏👏. He also arranges local excursions upon request.

This is a cash only operation, credit cards are only used to secure the online reservation.

The rooms are immaculately clean, many with a view. Comfy bed, hot water, strong WiFi. Breakfast included. 👍👍👍👍👍

Rooms are at the 2nd and 3rd levels. No lifts but wide sturdy stairs.

It’s centrally located at Quito’s Historico Centro. Restaurants and neighborhood tiendas are all around.

Hotel La Cierva de San Marcos is a good option for travelers. The staff were helpful and efficient in arranging transport and airport pick-up. Rooms were clean and reasonably spacious, though nothing extraordinary and could use some upgrades.

The breakfast was really good, with a fair variety of options across the three mornings we were there. The hotel’s location is definitely a strong point - situated in the historic center with easy access to restaurants and convenience stores.

Gloria and Hernán made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. They are so friendly and kind that you feel like you're home. If you come to Quito and you want to find a cozy and really nice place to spend three or four days going around the city and knowing all the historic places, then la cierva San Marcos is the place.

Also, you will find yourself surrounded by some of the most historic museums in the city.

I fell in love with this city and for sure I will come back and I will definitely stay...
