Sereno Moreno Bar — Restaurant in Centro Histórico

I like the place because of the art shows they sometimes have. But yesterday I went to eat with some friends and the service and foot quality was very poor. My friend ordered a juice that it was obvious the cut the pineapple with the knife they use for the onions or something because it tasted like onion juice. When the food arrived they forgot to give us enough utensils and no spoon for my ceviche. And worst of all my ceviche wasn't anything special. It said it had coconut and jalapeño and there were two slices of jalapeno on top and i didn't feel the coconut at all, not in taste or texture. It also had no onions which I find strange in ceviche. And about 30 min after I ate my stomach was all messed up until the following day. Very poor food quality and bad service, i will not be going back to eat. I spent $10 just to get...

El local es a simple vista pequeño, más tiene 3 ambientes, la plata baja con la barra y la cocina, el segundo ambiente con el balcón con vista a la calle y el tercer ambiente en la terraza con calefactores de exterior muros pintados con neon y vista de la Basílica y lugar para presentaciones de música en vivo, en este piso también se teien un piso adicional con una mejor vista, pero pequeño para pocas personas. La chicha que tienen es muy buena pudiendo ser pedida en copas, pintas o botellones de 2L, también tienen una cerveza, pero que no era muy de mi agrado, la comida tiene un precio medio acordé al sector, y lo que yo pedí que fueron alitas estaba bueno y me gustaría probar el resto del menú.

El servicio al cliente es bueno, cuando llegas te hacen probar la chicha y cerveza que tiene en shots, pero si el lugar tiene eventos o mucha gente los meses y personal están tan ocupados que pueda que se olviden o demoren mucho en el pedido que se solocite, hasta que la calidad de la comida pueda ser afectada, por la movilización entre los ambientes y pisos.

This is truly a great restaurant and bar in the center of Quito. The atmosphere downstairs is nice and warm and then when you go upstairs you are in for huge surprise with a rooftop with incredible views of Quito.
