Hotel Teatro Cafe MundialCity — Hotel in Guayaquil

This place is a adorable! It's locally owned with old timey furniture and the nicest staff. It's a great place to get to if you want to be near the airport or bus station. They have 24 hour reception and security which was very important for us because we flew in really late at night. The staff was just so accommodating. Keep in mind it's half the price of most of the hotels in the area, so it's not going to have fancy sheets, but it was very clean and the pool was perfect for morning laps. Quiet and safe hotel close to airport, 10 minute walk to Mall del Sol (with nice food court of American and local foods). Rooms have AC and open to courtyard with small pool and sitting areas. Rooms are basic but clean and include breakfast, which for us included mango from the tree in the courtyard. They picked us up at airport, which was helpful because of arrival at 11pm, apparently many taxi drivers have trouble locating this gem. Good bargain accomodations, would stay again if...

¡Este hotel queda cerca del Terminal Terrestre y cerca del Mall del Sol y en resumidas palabras es un desastre total!

1. La publicidad en su página de Facebook es engañosa, las fotos están tomadas creo cuando recién readecuaron, porque en la actualidad (5agosto2018) no es lo que uno espera.

2. Las habitaciones son un desastre, todo es viejo, sobre todo en las habitaciones contiguas a la recepción.

3. La pulcritud del lugar es igual un desastre, en el baño existe MOHO y en los CLOSETS hay cucarachas (cockroaches).

4. El AIRE ACONDICIONADO en las habitaciones en algunas funciona, en otras no y en otras funciona con cierto tipo de maña.

5. Lo único destacable es la ubicación y el servicio de LLAMADA DE TAXI SEGURO con que cuenta el hotel, (UBER).

6. El hotel es económico con respecto a otros lugares; YO lo he utilizado en dos ocaciones, la primera por economía y le hice ver todas mis quejas a la SEÑORA (creo es la dueña) de recepción, me ofrecieron cambiar si los visitaba nuevamente; luego de 4 meses regrese nuevamente a hospedarme en el lugar.. y siguió lo mismo, SUCIEDAD, BICHOS, APARATOS DEFECTUOSOS, PISCINA SIN AGUA, ETCÉTERA. Un desastre total. Si desea economía a cambio de pésima calidad, es el lugar indicado, pero si desea CALIDAD en lugar de economía.. este no es el mejor, HAY MEJORES PERO UNOS $10 ó $15 dolares mas la noche.
