We have eaten here before and enjoyed the food and the service, our visit this time was no different except for a few items. First let me say that the choice, presentation, quality of food, and the service are worth the cost and time allowed to digest the food thay offer. The points that detracted from my experience was the very cheep plastic seat on the toilet was broken, this to me shows a lack if quality control, how a restaurant maintains their toilets 🚻 is one way I rate the overhaul quility of the experience. The other point I was not happy with was the the bill, when presented by the server, he made an effort to point at the bottom of the bill was a space where you can add a tip, the bill already included a service charge, this was pointed out to the server, who then made a second attempt to get us to add an additional amount for a tip. When we declined the server made it clear that he was not happy, and made mention that they do not get the service charged amount. Our policy is that if we are happy with the service we will tip, if the bill includes a service charge we do not tip above that amount, we have found that when there is a service charge and we receive bad service, resteraunts will not remove...

The décor is very nice and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Although he spoke no English, we were able to order what we wanted without any problems. The service was good, but a bit slow.
The food is worth explaining. This is not your traditional Japanese sushi. There are unusual combinations and presentations, including a flambe (see photo). The menu (English) explains that the Ecuadorian chef wanted to create a fusion and he did. You can get Tekka Maki and other traditional rolls, but we chose to experiment. We found some choices better than others, but overall enjoyed the...
Read moreI was so excited to eat here, even when the food came. It's got the highest marks in the city for sushi. Unfortunately, the only thing worth eating out of what we got was the crab ball with tuna on top. It was great! Two of the three pieces of sushi tasted exactly the same, though salmon and white fish should not taste the same, and the third tuna was awful and soooo fishy. Also, they forgot the last item that we ordered and cleared the table and $15 for a Sapporo beer is a little bit ridiculous. Hope someone else has a...
