Hostel Revolution was a perfect stay for Quito. Sandra is super friendly, has great tips for everything and fun to talk with! The hostel is cosy decorated and spacious. The roof terrace has an amazing view and is great for relaxing, drinking a beer, reading etc. We had a private room, neatly and clean with good beds and good pillows! Showers consistent warm. Breakfast was delicious! The location is great, cafés with good coffee super close (Zular), als lots of restaurants (pizza at La Granja) and the historic centre with it's highlights in walking distance. Itxs easy to get an uber to anywhere you want. During the night it is quiet, so we had a good nights rest.

We had a very good time at this hostel. The beds are incredible comfortable, the bathroom and showers are clean and the water is hot. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can find free filtered water, coffee and tea at all time. Also the hostel has a rooftop with a very nice view on the city and the mountains. But in my opinion, the best value of this hostel is the very friendly atmosphere between the host Sandra, the potential volunteers and the guests. It really feel like being part of a small family. Really recommended!

I agree with the others, Sandra keeps a welcoming and hospitable hostel with very clean rooms, comfortable beds, clean sheets, and a substantial breakfast. I slept soundly in the beds, and appreciated the other travelers being respectful. Big kitchen with tea, coffee, water and storage if you want to grocery shop. Very close to everything in the center of town. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the roof. Much recommended.

We have been in the hostel revolution for 2 nights. We arrived in Quito airport rather late so we were very happy that the hostel organized an airport transfer with their hostel driver (Pedro) for approx. $25 (which is similar to a normal taxi).||The hostel is quite small as it only has around 5 rooms. We had a private double room which was a little too small (with shared bathroom) but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.||The showers and toilets are very clean as well and are getting cleaned every day!||Sandra (the owner) takes care of many things by herself and is very friendly and supportive.||The kitchen is very big and extremely well equipped! Your will find good pans, knifes etc. and everything is again very clean here.||The location of the hostel is very good as it is quiet and only 15 minutes by foot from the historic centre.||It has a nice rooftop to eat breakfast and dinner with a nice view.||It might not be the cheapest hostel in Quito but you will get a very good package. Only the room was a little too small for us (which is the reason why we didn‘t rate it...

At a central location in Quito between the old and new town with nearby, public transport to key locations in the city. 10-minute walk to the centro historico.||||Stayed at three different hostels before I landed at Revolution. In contrast to these, at Revolution they take care. There are not many rules, but they are maintained. As a result the kitchen is spotless (unique in Ecuador). There is no noise. Guests behave well.||||You do not have to ring a bell to get in. You get a door key and feel immediately they put trust in you. A good breakfast with fresh fruit is included. Served between 8 and 9 AM it is also an opportunity to meet other guests.||||The staff is well selected and well instructed to provide service to the guests. A relief compared to so many other hostels, where the staff seems more important than the guests.||||Beds with clean sheets and pleasant pillows are comfortable. Room is thoroughly cleaned by somebody who knows her job well. The showers are hot. WiFi worked well||||Excellent coffee included. The price is...
