Borg El Thaghr — Hotel in Alexandria

Believe me if you want to find a hotel to start your holiday in Alexandrea, this place will be the best!! The staff of this hotel are so gentle and nice. When taxi driver ask more money because I am a foreigner (from 700 pounds to 1400 pounds), the staff are so patient and help us to call the police officer to win the cheating game of the driver. I can’t believed this happened in Egypt. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all staff of this hotel. Besides, the rooms are clean and fancy ,especially each room has a huge balcony. Nothing can be better than sitting on the balcony with your lover and enjoying the wind from Mediterranean. The location is on the main ancient street of Alexandrea. You can walk to the sea side in couple of minutes and most of famous restaurants and shops are surrounding to here. This hotel will always be my first choice...

Never felt more at home than I've felt at this amazing hotel. I had to attend a medical conference in Alexandria, and I needed a close place near downtown, and Borg Althaghr hotel seemed like the perfect choice! I'm very glad to find this beautiful little place with very reasonable prices and discounts! The food was DELICIOUS, and every dish was made with love. The staff were very welcoming, and the room was vast and clean with a stunning view. I got rewarded for the best presenter award at the conference, and the owner of the hotel congratulated me himself and saw us off before check out... giving me and my mother and sister a beautiful experience, which we will never forget. A wonderful small hotel convenient to downtown, shops, restaurants and local attractions. Walking distance to the train station, trams and the Corniche. On-site restaurant with a varied menu and excellent food. Top- notch customer service and warm, friendly staff. My suite was spacious and very comfortable and had a huge terrace with table and chairs. Big bathroom and shower with great water pressure.

The hotel occupies the entire 10th floor of a large building and has a dedicated elevator. The street entry is drab and off-putting, but once you get to the 10th floor, the atmosphere is clean and well-appointed. I highly recommend...
