elite — Restaurant in Alexandria

At the entrance, the guy was asking for reservation name. I told him the name of my friend I'm going to meet upstairs. He knew him, but he said that my friend didn't tell him he is expecting me to come and didn't allow me to get in until he went upstairs to my friend and asked him if he is expecting me. Surprisingly enough, the place had only 2 occupied tables and all the rest were available!!! I have no idea what this man is doing and why would the management of the place allow him to do this!! Terrible experience .. never seen...

The place has nice seating, but I didn't get to eat there as the place was reeking with cigarette smoke. When we asked to be seated in a none smoking section, they told us there wasn't any!!!!!! Apparently while the whole world is moving forward with banning smoking in closed spaces, elite decided that the best way to go is the exact opposite!!!! Really poor management decisions, and reflects poor culture mentality to unsuspecting...

Its a historical restaurant and a place from the cosmopolitan era of the city of Alexandria. It used to have its own Greek style in the past and it used to serve middle eastern and Greek dishes and delicious pizzas and it serves spiritual drinks. After innovations it lost some of its originality in the opinion of the famous diner goers but from the the inside its still cozy
