Abdeen palace Hostel — Hotel in Cairo

I stayed in that hotel with my son (7 years old ) 4 days and 5 nights.Very safety and nice place.Its not hotel actually , its hostel but so quite and lovely...I booked King room with sofa bed and private bathroom.People who works there are so nice and friendly, ready to help you in any moment.When I ordered pizza to our room for delivery I had got complimentary beverages ( 2 glasses of Coca cola ) immediately 😊🌞 from hotel and complimentary cake later when I had problems with payment online ...It was so cute ❤️😊. They really want to make your staying comfortable in their place and do everything for that! Thanks 👍👍 so much ❤️❤️❤️. The room and bathroom was very very very clean.👍👍👍Its rare for Cairo !! The bed and pillows with blanket was so comfy for sleeping. You can buy a water and beverages with snacks outside in kiosk that located just in front of the hotel .I ordered food online on Talabat application during my staying there with alot of options for food and grocery.Some restaurants and cafes are very near to the Abdeen palace hotel ,so you will get your delivery during 20-60 minutes. I recommend Abdeen palace hotel ( hostel ) for solo travelers or for travelers with kids.Its safety and clean place in Downtown...

I stayed at this hostel with my mother and son for 10 days. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay thanks to the wonderful service. I completely disagree with the previous written review about the uncleanliness and do not share this experience. The accommodation is very clean, and the cleaning staff is extremely hard-working and friendly. We received a free and very extensive breakfast in our room every morning. Everything was always freshly prepared. Every request or wish was fulfilled at any time. The location of the hostel is great. You can reach everything on foot. For the really lazy, there is a metro just around the corner. There are shops, and if you need anything, you can always ask the reception. They always tried to resolve our concerns. A big thank you goes to Noha and Zeinab. These two girls are truly worth their weight in gold. They make so much effort to make you feel at home. The atmosphere is truly like home, and they are very helpful. She is a truly fantastic host. When we are back in Cairo, we will book this hostel again, thanks to...

First My Power brand sneaker was stolen from the room. After informing them they said we will look in cctv, but never gave any feedback. I did not make a formal complaint because we are not understanding what has happened, we were present in the room!!

Later we understood someone entered the room when we were sleeping. There cannot be any other explanation. The door could not be locked from inside, the only way is the key-lock they have given.

The room had no window, it was tiny, the bathroom did not have a towel bar or hook.

There is a lift, that needs to be kept in a museum, small and unsafe. From the ground floor we had to go up and then come one floor down by stairs. Every time we used it.

We had to ask for a bottle of water and tissue they were kind not to charge it.

There was no intercom to speak with reception. Only when Youssef was on duty we could text.
