Kmt Hostel — Hotel in Cairo

The place is well located and the building itself is ok. ||||We arrived and the room was different and didn’t have the balcony. They promised to change it the next day and they did. ||||Both rooms were very dirty especially the toilet (brown stains everywhere in both rooms).||||The staff smokes inside while speaking to you. we didn’t dare to have breakfast there. On the first day we asked for laundry and they said they would take take of it in 24 h. The day after they said in two hours will be ready. We got back in the evening and was still not ready. In a very rude way they said that if I want I can take it wet. the man with the glasses told me that he will be night auditing and to not worry he will give me the laundry when we leave in the morning. No one was there and I had to look everywhere for my laundry, I found it in a storage and a lot of clothes were missing. ||||The staff is extremely room and they continually make fun of you. The lady as well was super rude and unhelpful. We kept raising her voice saying to repeat and moving her hands in a very aggressive way. ||||We felt very uncomfortable and thankfully we only stayed there to sleep at night. ||||Do not come to this place, is just a friendly suggestion. ||||Place is dirty and the staff is...

Liked · 1. Very comfortable extra large single beds with privacy curtain, lights, lockers and sockets for each bed. Helpful staff, doing their best to help you out. Located about a 15min walk from Tahrir Square. Lot of shops and markets around, if anything is needed. 12-15beds in the room but everyone is quite and most of them friendly. Excellent breakfast included. Lovely shower/bathroom and kitchen with all facilities included.

Disliked · 1. Wifi in the room plays up a bit but if you are at the door or in the lobby it is super fast. Can be hard to find using Google maps though there is a small board outside on the building. Staff and customers smoking inside the lobby is a turn off, if you are...

Excellent hospitality by all staff members who are friendly and eager to make you feel at home, even those that cannot speak your language make sincere effort. Though situated in downtown area, one quickly learns is as safe as any, all the people in the immediate area are friendly and helpful. Once inside the place, KMT is squecky clean and very well kept at high standards. Breakfast is very basic, but Its cheap enough to pay extra for your individual requirements. Be sure to arrange it day before. Anything you ask will be arranged, and you are very well supported and looked after.
