I am struggling to recognise this hostel from the description on Trip Advisor! The address is the only way I can be sure they are the same hotels/hostels.||I arrived in Cairo tired and needing to find accomodation quickly. This was the first place I stopped. It is on the sixth floor of a gloomy and dirty building, but the lift/elevator is wonderful. Maybe the prototype of all lifts.||My bicycle is stored in a small room on the ground floor which doubles as a toilet from the smell inside. ||As for the hostel. My room is large, with three comfortable beds, a small TV and fridge. The bathroom is small and the shower old with a slow water supply, not very good. The hot water comes from a heater on the wall which needs to be switched on an hour before you need the water. There is no hairdryer in the bathroom and no tea making facilities in my room, both advertised as being there. The windows have no fly screens so it is unwise to open them, mosquitoes come in. I know!.||It is advertised as having a gym room, where, I do not know. There is a tired looking treadmill outside my room, which I have to step over every time I leave it! Maybe this is the gym.||The wall to the next room is very thin and a lot of noise comes from my neighbours, as it does from the reception area just outside my door.||The breakfast is poor and is eaten in ones room. A small omelette, two small bread rolls and small portions of cheese and jam, plus tea. ||On the positive side, the staff are friendly and the free WiFi reception is generally good. Laundry service is EP4 per item.||As a last resort stay here, but I am sure there are much better alternatives for EP125 per...
