We (me & my husband) arrived at the Paradise Boutique Hotel on Saturday 12 September 2025 for a 3 night stay in Cairo. When booking, I had initially agreed that this leg of our holiday will be a cheap budget hotel until we move on, and this is exactly what the Paradise Boutique Hotel is. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it, but if you are looking for a warm welcome, friendly attentive staff, good location, then this is it. |We arrived in the evening and was warmly welcomed with the most amazing smile by Mohammed (there are three Mohammed, so I called him Mohammed No1) who checked us in.|Our room was spacious with a sofa to the side with a huge bed. The ensuite was awkward, but it did the job, the water pressure was good and it was hot. But I must say that the room, furniture and overall hotel, is very very dated. We slept really well here, and had no problems at all. |Breakfast was ok, the service was slow and the lentils and the bread, I would have preferred them to be warm. The coffee was hot and lovely. Overall it did the job, but if we were staying for longer, we probably would have gone out for breakfast for something different. |I cannot write this review without mentioning the entrance to the hotel. It is not on the main road but on a side entrance that is not desirable at all. It looks like a rundown alley way, it is not pretty, it has uneven pavements, it is dirty and it is really run down. From the outside, you can see the grandeur of days gone by, back in the day, this would have been a very grand building. The entrance to the hotel is not the best and I had my reservations to even enter into the building. It does not define what we would call Paradise at all. |The lift is a strange one, you open the door outwards, then enter the two small doors into the lift. It plays the theme from Titanic every time that it moves between floors that we found hilarious. The hotel is situated on the 5th Floor with rooms on 4 - 6 floors. Make sure that you close the lift door properly otherwise will not open on the floor.|We had one window in the room and it overlooked what I can only describe as a derelict building that had been knocked down with all of the rubble below. As we were only in the room to sleep and get ourselves ready to head out, it did not bother us. There was a bar somewhere nearby and they played music all night, however after walking around Cairo in the heat, by the time my head hit the pillow, I hardly heard a thing. |What makes Paradise Boutique Hotel so special is the TEAM (Mohammed 1, 2 & 3, Na Da and Shema to mention a few) They are the most generous, welcoming, and special group of people that I have met during my travels. They could not do enough for me and my husband. I spent my birthday here, and my husband had planned for us to have sunset dinner on a boat as it sailed down the Nile. However the team insisted that we return for the evening instead and what a lovely surprise for them to arrange a birthday celebration for me - this was AMAZING, truly blown over by their generosity and kindness towards me and my husband. It was and will always be a birthday that I will always treasure because the team did not need to do this for me. |Needless to say, I did not miss the boat trip down the Nile. This was far better and more special.|Paradise Boutique Hotel is not shiny and new and it needs some TLC, the entrance is not grand and beautiful to look at, but the staff at this hotel are really amazing and the made the beginning of our holiday perfect which is why I have rated it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stayed with my family at this hotel, but they left a little earlier than me. My friend wanted to stay there so that we can go out late , come back to the hotel and he would be able to take me to that airport the next day but the hotel rejected him because he is from Ciaro. I tried to apply for a refund but was rejected. I would like to withdraw the previous review, which was written under peer pressure on the( 2nd day) from one of the hotel staff members named : Hindu. The hotel was fine, but some things weren't for 1) discrimination against guests. 2) denying a refund 3) things went missing from the hotel room 4) the shower wasn't always working well 5) the carpet was very damp when I first arrived 5) my other family members had problems with the restroom, dirty water was coming up 6) my aircon wasnt working, i asked several times for help but to no avail 7) the keys were moved from one reception to another without informing guests. 8) pushy staff members are always asking for us to write reviews ( not all the staff members were like this. They were kind, helpful and present) 9) the hotel offers airport transfer but it's really expensive. Uber is much cheaper. * I wouldn't have written, I would've let it just go but but since the hotel refuses to give a refund, I think it's only fair that other know what my REAL...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot recommend staying at Cairo Paradise Hotel enough. We came on quite a spontaneous trip where we had not planned each day beforehand, we booked a hotel that felt good to us, in a good location and decided that we would ask for recommendations once there. We were welcomed extremely warmly by Ahmad, and had a big and beautiful room. From the first day, we were given so much advice based on our budget and interests: Amr gave us his experience and offered us to plan our days to make the most out of our time: we did not just visit many locations, we also had guides and did things in a certain order and at every hour. These made it into a very very busy and fun adventure! Apart from travel help, everyone was very generous at the hotel, we were offered tea, coffee and Egyptian food to try, and got a taxi ride to the airport to go back. They always made sure we were safe and had any question answered. I felt so welcomed to Egypt and Cairo and I hope to go back and see them againšThank you to Ahmad, Amr and everyone else! One piece of advice: sometimes on iPhone maps when you write the hotel name it can get a little mixed up, make sure when you see the destination it is on Sherif Pasha Street but also: in between 26th July Street and Adly Street. The hotel is also opposite a cake shop called El Abd...
