Paris east hostel — Hotel in Cairo

There’s free breakfast. There’s a choice between coffee or tea. And there’s bread, yoghurt, jam, butter, egg, and fruits.

The AC was working well. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. There are lots of sockets in the room. And lots of lights 😅 I also requested for a quiet room so it was indeed quiet and I was able to sleep well. But since it’s the quiet room, i dont have the good view of the street from the balcony. But what’s important is the good sleep 😄

The bathroom is also a good size. They provide towels and handwashing/body wash but no shampoo though. There’s also hot water in the shower. Like really hot water. And they have bidet. Water supply is strong.

Wifi works well too! Both floors have good wifi.

The room was unfortunately quite dirty, with small bugs and mosquitoes both in the room and on the bed. While there was WiFi, there was no actual internet connection. The shower drain was clogged, and since there were no other rooms available for two people, we had to shower in a single room and then return to ours. The staff assured us it would be fixed the next day, but it was still clogged on the second day, and we were not offered another room.

Late at night, well past midnight, a staff member knocked on our door and said they needed to move a mattress to another room. They then dragged the mattress out along the floor, which was quite disruptive.
